I use this as a lock-box in my vehicle. I use two combination locks on the end that opens with a steel cable. The cable is attached to the steel bracket for the seat. The goal is to eliminate a quick break and grab. It is not a great deterent for a person with a long time to open the box, but it prevents a quick break and grab. It meets my needs as the box is very sturdy.
