This sewing machine travel bag is excellent quality. The size is perfect for a standard sewing machine and there are a ton of pockets and compartments for storage. There are multiple ways to transport the bag. It has padded straps for carrying as a backpack, a longer crossbody strap, and padded handles as well. There is an insert on the inside that can be used as a divider or as more structure for the bottom of the bag. The top fully unzips and provides a larger storage compartment. The material is a stiff, padded synthetic woven material and seems to be water resistant. The zippers were a little hard to get moving the first couple of times because of the shape of the top of the bag. It was a little hard to get it around the corners.Overall, this is a sturdy bag and protects my machine well. It makes transporting my machine a breeze and it looks professional.

I have always wanted a carrying case for my sewing machine, for storage as well as bringing to a friend's house to work on crafts. This fits my standard Kenmore machine perfectly PLUS the top compartment serves as an entire sewing kit, holding all my extra bobbins, needles, thread, and accessories. Furthermore, the side compartment was big enough to hold the carry case holding all 35 additional presser feet for the machine. In short, this thing is like a complete Go Bag for your sewing machine. The option to carry over shoulder or as a backpack is bonus. This 40+ year sewer highly recommends!

My oldest sewing machine Viking Husqvarna Scandia is several years old and didn't come with a carrying case. Most carrying cases for sewing machines are sold separately. I found a cheap plastic carrier that I used previously, but it only had a single handle on the center of the lid and felt awkward to carry. What I like better about this new fabric case is that it has multiple handle options and pockets. You can either carry the case with the 2 backpack shoulder straps or use the adjustable padded shoulder strap on one arm or in your hand, or just the padded handle on the carrier lid. This feels much more comfortable than hard molded plastic. It's much less awkward to carry than my old plastic generic case. Some other nice features it has are the zipper pocket compartments where you can store your owner's manual to keep machine stitch and setting information handy. You can even use the larger upper pockets to carry your current or future sewing project items like fabric and notions. It's perfect for travel or for attending a quilting retreat or an in person sewing class.I also like the padded sides, top and bottom. Even if you don't sew or don't have a sewing machine, this case would make the perfect insulated picnic or camping tote.It feels sturdy, fits my machine perfectly, and is much easier to store when not in use than the big ugly box I had. I like the black and gray exterior with gray interior fabric.

The material is very nice and holds the sewing machine with no issues. I actually have all of my sewing tools added in the bag. It has so many pockets on the exterior I don't need the older box I was using. I only use the the top handle to move the case and maybe the strap if moving to the car. I don't see myself having to carry my sewing machine as a backpack. The case is well built and the zippers are easy to work.It would be a nice gift.

This is very cheaply made. Additionally, the handles are attached to the “lid” and not the body. I see them ripping if used often. Backpack part is unnecessary for most.

This is a nice bag. It seems to be well constructed from good materials. The padding is good, there's plenty of storage. You're not going to go wrong with this bag.Check the dimensions on your machine though, because "fits most standard sewing machines" is pretty vague. I got this for my Viking Sapphire 960Q, which I consider pretty standard, and it does not fit. So I gave it to Mrs. for her Viking Freesia and it fits great and she's happy with it (happy wife, happy life).

I sew at art shows and am happy with this carry case! I love the backpack feature! There’s a handle on top, but it’s just sewn directly to the fabric on top. I’m not sure I will trust that to carry a machine. But! It also has a nice shoulder strap that seems sturdier. Other than that top handle, it is very well made with really nice padding.I really like the good-sized, separate compartment above where the machine sits.
