It's not like this is a high demand item. I mean, who even knows what these are for? Haha. In my case, these things are standoffs (or mounts, if you will) between the body of my DMC motorcycle sidecar and the metal sidecar chassis. I broke two of the ones that came with my 10-year old sidecar in an "unexpected event" (who said crash?) These weren't the original ones but were real close in size so I was able to swap these in for the broken ones. Quality seems fine to me.

Rubber is to hard to dampen the vibration, couldn’t use them.

If you need relatively rigid mounts that provide some electrical isolation and minor vibration absorbtion, these will probably do the trick. I used it to mount a compressor to keep from coupling the vibration to the parent structure. While I'm sure it was better than sinching the thing down directly with bolts - the vibrations and noise don't seem to be damped to any noticeable degree.Think "engine motor mount" in terms of "anti-vibration". Usually mounts of this size and type are meant for a bit less rigidity and a bit more damping - especially when they're not captive. If these tear, they're coming apart. The baseplate is overmolded steel, as is the threaded insert, and there's a 10mm of high-hardness rubber joining the two (minus the overmolding). How this deflects 8mm without shearing is anyone's guess, but that's what the specs claim.Would be nice if they gave actual engineering specs, shore hardness, damping characteristics - something.Overall, I can't think of a use case where I'd be satisfied with these. Seems like they're a "happy medium" in between to types of mounts that didn't need an "in between" solution. At more than the cost of a burrito each, I find them a poor value (that's how they measure things here in San Diego - I don't make the rules).YMMV.

I was hoping it would deaden the sound of my booster pump more than it did. It was a disappointment. Also, the threaded nuts in the top were way too tight for the bolts to go in to. They bottomed out early.

The previous owner of the house I own had some interesting home improvement strategies. I know that they replaced the pump on the pool at one point, but their idea of quieting the noise from it was to place it on a bed of mulch. While that sounds reasonable, the pool pump gets extremely hot throughout the day, especially in summer, and I was wondering how long it would be before it started that mulch on fire.I removed the mulch and attached bolts tot he bottom flange of the pump housing to act as leveling pins. The pins were then placed into these rubber mounts and nuts on the bolts allowed my to level the pump out and have the rubber contact the concrete below. This worked out perfectly. Not only is the mulch gone from under the pump (which actually keeps it cooler), but the rubber reduces the vibration from the pump drastically. While I didn't attach these directly to the pump, they make great isolation feet in the setup I'm using now. Great item.
