Tested my 2 tb silicon power nvme drive, 5200 MB/s read speeds fully maxed out and it makes out at 63 c which isn't bad at all ! Pretty impressed for slim this heatsink is, already ordered this twice now, would order this product again !

One of my M.2 slots was right under my GPU so it gets some hot air around it and this low profile cooler fit right on to my SSD and still fit under the GPU so that it stays cool and it doesn’t bump up against the GPU. Super easy to add on to your SSD though I’m not the biggest fan of the rubber bands to hold the cooler down onto the thermal pad lol. Works great just feels like there could be another way

I recently bought a Kingston 500Gb NVMe SDD to increase the size of my Dell laptop's C: drive, as the original 128Gb SDD was running out of space for Windows 11. Although the new SSD is working well, it was getting a little hot in the very confined space of the laptop, getting up to around 68 degrees C. I bought this low profile heatsink and am happy to report that it has reduced the operating temperature to 54 degrees C, which is a much more comfortable working temperature.

I was running a wd sn770 and it was running up to 80 C on tests and 57 idle. I was using the heatsink that came with my msi 650p wifi mb, but it wasn't even making contact, I had to double up the silicon over the chip to get it to make contact and even then it only did about a degree cooler. I replaced it with this heatsink and now it's 48 idle and 61 on test load!Easy to install, I was worried about it working as with the design of the sn770 the chip is higher than the rest of the stick, and the silicone was only making contact with the chip, but it works very well.

So why would I write a review about a heat sink? Well I've run into issues with other heat sinks being too bulky/tall and block expansion cards on motherboards. These are low profile and work great! Easy to install.

I had an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive that was behind the motherboard and temperature were reporting in the 70s. I didn't measure if this was affecting performance, but I wanted to cool it regardless. My chassis has a cutout for rear motherboard access and there was enough room for this slim heatsink. When I assembled it and powered on the machine, the heatsink was just as hot as the drive to the touch, so heat transfer is great. However, the heat would just sit on the heatsink and drive temperatures didn't improve. As soon as there was a small amount of airflow, the drive temperature would drop. However, airflow on the back of the motherboard is hard to achieve in my chassis. Good product; best served with active airflow.

Now first off, I gotta say they would be perfect if they weren't $10 a piece, at least at the time of writing this, but they are still worth to buy.My Asus Prime Z590M Mobo, doesn't have heat syncs on it and doesn't have room for full size syncs. But these low profile ones, fit perfect, especially the drive under my gpu.I bought one for each of my drives after building a thrown together rig, once I realized my temps were hitting 80c. Even with bad airflow in my case, they still dropped it down to 60c. And idle temps are around 26 to 30 from 45 to 50c.

Finally found a heat sink that would fit in the ps5, this one fits perfectly. Just wished it had screws instead of 2 silicon bands holding it to the drive but it does the job!
