I have a Dell Latitude 7389 with a Windows 11 Home OS on a Toshiba 256GB PCIe SSD. Here is how I cloned my OS SSD to my Micron 256GB PCIe:1. I connected the cloner with my Asus 45W type C charger and pressed the mini power button, the power lighted up.2. put the Toshiba SSD into the source socket, the cloner showed the Toshiba SSD was inserted properly with a light. I then put the Micron SSD at the target socket, the target light lit up.3. I pressed the clone button for some 4 or 5 seconds, 25% 50% 75% 100% all flashing. After about 4 minutes the 25% became solid. After about 15mins, all 25% 50% 75% and 100% lit up. So cloning was done.4. I put in the Micron SSD in my Dell 7389 SSD socket, boot up exactly as my Toshiba SSD. Cloning was a success.5. I bought a used Samsung 1TB PCIe SSD and tried to clone the Toshiba SSD but the 1TB became very hot and unable to be cloned. I returned the 1TB SSD.6. I immediately ordered an Intel 670P 512GB SSD which has running 3.3V 0.9A which is about half power consumption 3.3V 1.8A of the 1TB just returned. The Micron 256GB SSD has a power rating of 3.3V 2.5A. Its warmer than the Toshiba SSD but definitely cooler than the Samsung 1TB. In due course, when the Intel SSD come in and cloning OK if with less power consumption, I will use it in my Dell and kept the Micron and Toshiba as spare copies of the OS.Update: July 12, 2024My Intel 670P NVMe 512GB was delivered a few days ago and used this cloner to clone my Micron 256GB.The 25% cloned in about 4 mins, 50% , 75% and 100% each cloned about 9 mins. Total cloning time was about 31 mins. I took out the Toshiba 256GB from my Latitude laptop and replacdd with the Intel 512GB.The unallocated 256GB was partitioned and formatted as a separate drive. Cloning to the Intel 512GB was successful.I would recommend this cloner.
