A solid option for detecting materials within 1-5mm. It runs on a wide voltage range and uses very little power, making it great for basic projects. It’s simple to use and has built-in surge protection, but the fixed detection range and limited output might not work for some projects. Still, for the price, it’s a decent pick if you need a basic proximity sensor.

It has a large 18 mm, 3/4 inch, threaded barrel connector, which houses the electronics. 2 wires to a controller provides the switching mechanism. I'm not sure about the range, but I plan to use it to monitor my home, as there are many animals about, which could trigger an alarm or camera setup. This is an industrial sensor device, I will attempt to experiment with it, in a unconventional way.

仕様通りの条件で普通に使うことはできました。仕事で使う上では信頼性という面で有名メーカー品を選びますが趣味でちょっとした物を作る時などはこの程度のもので良いと思います。

車載して使用しています。センシングに際しての検出距離・設定距離を決めるまではメイクアンドトライの繰り返しで結構苦労しましたが、これさえ決まれば安定して動作してくれます。本体造りもしっかりしていて、ケーブルにはシールドもされています。あえて言うなら、筐体がもう少し短いと良かったです。
