This product really saved me. I love my Victory Hardball, but Vic's seem to have a common problem with the drain plug stripping. It's in aluminum, and I am very careful, but it still stripped.This provides a solid steel to steel connection for the drain plug.A tip for others doing a drain plug too. Use liberal amounts of grease on the drill bit and counter sink.The grease traps the metal shavings.I drilled about half way through, cleaned up the dill bit and re-aplied clean grease to finish drilling.Go slow, keep the drill straight, and idk how you can have a problem unless your trying to drill extremely hard steel.On my Victory motorcycle, the counter sync was too long, it hit the oil pump pickup, so I had to cut the guide part in half. (Pictures after cut) Was quick and easy to do with an angle grinder using a cutoff disk.Very happy with this product. I will update this review if I have any problems.

I am really glad to have this thread repair kit in my tool box. Since I have owned it I have used it several times and continue to be impressed with the overall quality, especially the taps. They are pretty stout and none have broken. The case is also nice and it holds all the pieces in place really well.Top notch tools for sure at a really good price point. I highly recommend this set.

Stripped out threads of a drain bolt on a metric quad.. Drill bit snapped in half.. A hardened drill bit snapped inside a aluminum case.. Avoid at all cost.. Horrible product.. Unfortunately Amazon did not have a 1.5 thread pitch so I went with this other company.. Bad decision on my part..

The set is solid if you understand its use and what it's intended for. It gets the job done. The stainless steel is decent quality. Take your time, this isn't something you want to rush through. Really have no complaints.

Wasn’t sure if this was going to be able to fix the stripped threads in my crankshaft(bolt broke inside and needed to be Rethreaded) but it worked got my car on the rode again along with the inserts also purchased on Amazon! Couldn’t be happier thought my block was going to be done but all is good. Last pic is the job all done with new inserts in and new harmonic balancer ready to be installed
