These envelopes gave a stellar presentation to some half-page mailers that I was sending by USPS. I was able to put a letter inside with a message that the recipient could see through the envelope. I can't speak towards the durability through the mail - hope that there were no issues, but handling them was a breeze. I just used a moist sponge to seal them and they seemed sturdy. I used two labels on the front for the address and return.

I have been ordering & using this type envelope for 6 years and received a great product. The order from February was received ruffled and did not lay flat. I sent it back & was sent another immediately. Unfortunately, these envelopes were exactly the same in appearance— ruffled & not flat. I put them under pressure of stacked books, but when I had to use one recently they were still not flat & looked used. My clients received a lovely souvenir booklet in a shabby envelope. Very disappointed ☹️

**UPDATE - Okay, these aren't glassine, the material is more parchment/silicone and are stronger than anticipated.Glassine not plastic (PVC) envelopesInvariably, when I do a search for an item, I am sent to an item that I am not looking for. I was looking for 6 x 9 Plastic (PVC) Tuck Flap envelope (the company doesn't seem to make them anymore). Since they *look* similar to this product, I bought them. They are nothing like what I need. Aargh...
