Product is easy to install and works very well. Only negative is that the clips to secure the pad are fixed to the mattress cover and you can feel them through the sheets. It's a small issue compared to the benefit of the alarm. It's a great early warning and you can wear the pager so you can go into other rooms nearby without worrying.

If you have an elder parent who likes to get up in the middle of the night to wonder around, this item works great! Once we made sure to locate pressure pad under hips, we’ve had zero faulse alarms. Love the fact that the alarm tone volume is adjustable with the option for vibrate only. Also love that alarm goes off as soon as the person sits up in bed. This gives you time to respond Great product!!

Bought this for family member. It alarms if off of the mat/weight shift. Easy to set up. Takes numerous batteries, but worth it. You can turn it off, when not in use to save the batteries.I just wish it was even louder, for someone with hearing deficit. It is expensive, but worth it!!

My 94-year-old mom has dementia and forgets that she is not able to walk by herself. Having the alarm go off as soon as she sits at the edge of her bed is a lifesaver for her and for me. I am battling cancer and do need my sleep at night - not having to keep an open ear all night and listening if she is moving lets me sleep in my room upstairs while I know she is safe in bed downstairs. We had no false alarms or events where it didn't go off. Works 100%!!!

This product has already saved 2 potential falls at 3:00 a/m when my 94 year old father in law woke up and tried to get out of bed on his own. The alarm was loud enough to stop him from standing up on his own. It is well worth the money!!! It works as described, was easy to set up. Thanks for making such a great product!!!!

Bought for an elderly family member with dementia. She can't walk, but she likes to stand up and try it the second a caregiver turns their back. Sometimes she pretends to sleep so the other person leaves the room. Luckily, the other person hears the alarm go off, and run back. This model is a bit more expensive than others out there, but it's great, and comes from the manufacturer. This is important, because the pads themselves only last 15 months or so with continuous use. This is because their batteries cannot be recharged. After that, you need replacement pads.Still, totally worth it.

We could not manage caring for our mother without this bed alert system. The motion detector and sound alert work well and we have plenty of time to dash up the stairs and assist her before she tries to get up on her own and risk falling. She does not feel discomfort from the device which was a concern before we purchased it. Highly recommend this product.

This worked for my mum on 1st night of use. Disappointed that no where in their advert did they say battery in pad is not replaceable and lifespan written on the pad is 15 months. You will know this only after buying and reading the fine prints on the pad itself. This product is expensive and I would have reconsidered it if the product description on the website is clearer on this.

This alarm has helped us tremendously. If we didn’t have that my father in law would have fallen so many times. I have it set to one side since his bed is against the wall we only have to worry about him getting out on one side. OMG! He has dementia & keeps trying to get up. The problem is he is 94 years old withdementia, but more agile than I am until he actually stands on his legs. His legs are weak & give out when he stands on them. The thing is he can hold them up together in the air as long as he wants while you get him dressed. I can’t do leg lifts like that. So getting up isn’t his problem, but once he’s up those same legs can’t hold him up. The alarm goes off, we immediately look at the camera & there he is getting up. It gives us enough time to dash downstairs to stop him. I don’t know what we’d do without it. I bought it in anticipation of him moving in with us because he was getting out of bed both in the hospital & at rehab. Great product, easy to install, works just as advertised. It has more than one setting. I have it so he can turn & reposition himself without setting off the alarm, but the moment he sits up & tries to get out of bed it goes off. Oh & its loud, you don’t have to worry that you will sleep through it. Not only is it loud it vibrates on my nightstand.Update: We love this device so much we bought the matching chair alarm. You pair it to the same alarm box. We have noted that occasionally (twice since mid February) it will become unpaired. It’s easy to pair it back to the device in 5-10 seconds. You just have to be careful because if you don’t notice & it becomes unpaired it’s useless, it won’t alarm & alert you. I’m convinced my father in law would have fallen & hurt himself by now if it weren’t for the alarm. We have a baby monitor with a couple of cameras watching him so if the alarm goes off we can see what he’s doing & actually talk to him to see why is he trying to get up. This has allowed us to safely sleep at night.

My senior citizen mother-in-law recently had a stroke and also broke her hip when she fell. We brought her home to care for her after hip surgery and rehab, and we purchased the combo bed and chair alarms with the early warning system to protect her from falls. They are worth their weight in gold! They were easy to set up and activate using the link to the "how to" videos included in the instruction booklet. We have only had her home a few days, and due to some damage to her critical thinking from the stroke, she forgets that if she were to stand, she would immediately fall. Several times already, the alarm has promptly sounded as she has attempted to get up, and we were able to quickly get to her before she got out of her bed or her chair and get her safely to the bathroom. We both sleep much more soundly knowing that her bed alarm will go off in the night before she gets out of bed. We keep the receiver clipped on one of our hips during the day (the attached clip makes it easy), and on our bedside table at night. I tested it out upon receipt, and the pads were comfortable to lie/sit on under the bed sheet and positioning sheet on her bed, and under a small blanket on her chair, without undue crinkling or plastic noise. The bed monitor has stayed nicely in place on her bed with the use of the clips that are provided with the order. I can't recommend these products enough both for top quality functionality and peace of mind.Update 02/2024:Still working well, but be aware that very occasionally, the alarm pads will "unsync" from the receiver (has happened twice), and will need to be resynced for the alarm to work. Be sure to test that the pads are working by quickly pushing to apply pressure on the chair or bed where you have the alarm pads placed before seating your loved one. Resyncing is simple, but it's important to make sure it's working.
