Facet looks nice and the foot pump is very sturdy but it simply DOES NOT WORK. Provides a good leg workout but water is not pumped in nor out of the peddle. Sadly I’ve missed my returns windows so not happy at all.

This is a good product, and it seems to work well for a utility sink where your hands are either full or or dirty. The valve seems very sturdy, and has not leaked (yet). The only problem is that the kit came with (only) one nice long hose. The length makes sense, because this device is installed on the floor, and this is a longer distance than is standard for faucets, particularly one that is to be installed in a garden shed. The problem is that a second hose this long was hard to find locally. I eventually had to go to 2 big box stores, buy 2 extra hoses, one 20" with a compression connector (for the supply valve) x 1/2" FIP, another that was 30" with 1/2" FIP x 1/2" FIP, and an appropriate 1/2" brass MIP pipe nipple to connect them. But it did work. I probably should have known that I would have this problem, and ordered the extra long hose from Amazon, but a little extra advice from either the manufacturer or Amazon would have alerted me to the issue and saved time.

I saw one of these at my neighbors house and had to get one. Foot operation works great, ideal for a shop sink. I combined it with a conventional faucet. This unit tees off the cold supply. Made a base out of waterproof pvc trim board to mount the foot petal.

very nice sturdy used it outdoors on my bbq island sink so now no gunky, corroding faucet but hands free.Highly reccomend. No gradual low to high control just on and off smooth control.

I needed this for an outdoor gravity fed sink. The first thing I noticed was it came with a 1/2 hose, inlet and outlet. That is much better compared to the normal 3/8 sink hose and outlets. This is important for my applicatiom as it allowed me to hook up a 3/4 standard hose to the rain barrel (needed an 3/4 to 1/2 adapter from the Orange store). The benefit here is that the bigger hose resulted in greater pressure and enhanced the downward water flow. One step on the foot pedal and BAMMM water flowing like the Mississippi! Of course when you remove your foot it stops. But now I have a hands free way to handle outdoor tasks. Great little unit and it felt solidly built.

On the positive, the packaging of the valves was impressive, it showed the manufacturer or merchant really cared about their product. The finish on the valves are beautiful and they have a hefty feel that makes you think they'll last a good long time provided no one kicks the foot pedals sideways. So why the poor rating you ask? Well I had high hopes for these foot valves (bought 3 valves and 2 valve & faucet sets) as they were all advertised as having NPT threaded ports (a standard in the US), but alas they are NOT NPT, they are parallel thread (likely G1/2"), so unusable without adding an adapter (another potential point of failure or leak down the road). This makes them just pretty paperweights, and I don't need pretty paperweights. For those in the US that didn't notice because both standards use 14 tpi thread pitch so they just wound 20 wraps of pipe tape to make them seal, well in time you'll have a nice leak at the connections. G1/2" threads have a major diameter of 0.810" whereas 1/2" NPT threaded pipe has a major thread diameter of 0.836" with a 1:16 taper, so by about thread number 5 or 6 the thread diameter is near 0.804 and these two dissimilar standards will engage but only for 1 thread, cause that's all you have. G1/2" connections rely on a face seal whereas NPT rely on the tapered threads and sealant to make a tight leak proof connection. For all the care and effort that went into making and packaging these they fail spectacularly if the threads are wrong. Please fix the posting - these are not NPT.So these are going back to Amazon.
