I ordered this Lucky Herp 6x8 heating pad to warm up the sleeping area for my Russian Tortoise's tank. The primary heat element can't be inside his little house because it gets too hot, so this provides a good supplementary heat source. I stuck it to the tank directly next to his sleeping area, and our heat thermometer tells me the pad is about 10 degrees hotter than the surrounding area. The heat doesn't seem to travel very far, though, and only heats the area around it by about 7 degrees. This is better than nothing, but not as warm as I would like. Perhaps I should have ordered a pad with more power since this is only 8W, but at least it provides some heat while he sleeps. It is easy to use and has been stuck to the tank for weeks without coming loose at all.

I ordered this heater to see if I could set it up for consistent dough temperature in a proof box and with some adjustments such as turning a cooking sheet over on top of it to create a barrier it is able to keep the dough at a steady 72 degrees.

Got this for my hermit crab tank. It works great! I was replacing one of two pads that went out, however it works so good it took the place of both heating pads I was using. I've been using this about a month now, no issues. The peel and stick adhesive that comes installed on the mat is very strong. Once is on, it's on, so make sure to take your time. This is a really good quality heating pad, alot better than most. The only thing I hate, is there's no knob to adjust the temperature, make sure you have a tank thermometer.I definitely recommend this heating pad, it's a really great value

This heat mat is an excellent choice for undertank heating on standard aquariums. The 8-inch width fits perfectly on tanks over 10 gallons, avoiding the awkward overhang that wider heat pads often create --a feature I always appreciate.I'm currently using this mat under two vertical 10-gallon aquariums housing small crested geckos. It raises the temperature by about 10 degrees, even with 4 inches of substrate, which is impressive. However, as with any heat mat, it’s crucial to pair it with a thermostat to prevent overheating.Performance-wise, it’s on par with other heat mats I’ve used. Durability is still an open question, but I’ll update this review if any issues crop up over time. So far, it’s a reliable option for small reptile enclosures.

This is heating my 44 gallon tank with hermit crabs and is keeping the temperature right where it needs to be.
