Good product. I tried it on an older reel first. It worked and the reel cranked smoothly. There was no significant difference. I also applied some to a felt drag (normally I would use reel grease) and seem to tighten down nicely it would stop a fish. I am not sure of the long term use over grease.Good product.

I use a spinning reel in creeks a lot so it was starting to get pretty noisy from getting tossed around in a kayak. A couple drops of this quieted the reel right up!

Not only is this synthetic oil very slippery, it is also corrosion protective. It’s best feature is it it’s tolerance to heat. Lubricate your firearm and leave it in a desert for two weeks. It will still be wet with lubricant when you return. The needle spout is an excellent means of getting into tight places.
