I was rebuilding an LS motor and needed one of these. It worked perfectly. Match the old one exactly. Thanks!

The plastic is fine and I’m sure similar to factory, but upon installation the o-ring was too large and no amount of lube or force would get it in all the way. I got it past the initial passage which is the outside of the block but once in the block it would not go past the oil galley and cut the o-ring. I now have to find all the pieces of o-ring that came apart and are somewhere in the oil galley.

Like the other review, I am really satisfied with the product. It fits like oem product. I bought a metal one thinking it'd be superior because its not plastic but It didn't even fit and I had to file it to make it even work. I decided I didn't want an issue with clearance and decided to get this. Glad I did.

The overall quality is very nice and appears to be well-made. Upon removing the old barbell you can see just what a difference there is between the old one and this new one. Make sure to apply a small amount of oil to the O-ring so that it slides in easily. Make sure not to press it in too far, for the most part you really can’t as long as you press it to where it’s pretty much flush with The back of the block. Will be purchasing more for two more motors being built.
