  • UPGRADE- This kit includes an oil diverter with Double O-rings, oil pickup tube hold down, and front gallery plug. Made from Aluminum, CNC Machining have less tolerance, making the gap smaller, so that it can prevent dust from entering the oil and keep it clean.
  • The 2 Viton O-rings can bring excellent sealing, avoid the oil system from being polluted. Better than other products on the market.
  • The tapered design will increase the speed of oil flowing and the threads in the ends of the oil diverter & plug will help you load or unload. The tube held down will prevent your passage from leaking oil.
  • Professional installation is recommended. According to our customer experience, you can use a small rubber mallet to tap to install go in, different models may have size differences, if you think the size is too large, you can lightly sand the edge of this barbell to fit, or lubricate the contact parts for better Install. It's easy to do, and you'll save a lot.

Although I can't say for sure that a plastic barbell has failed on me and was responsible for low oil pressure, I also can't say they haven't. I build ls platform motors daily and for the price, the fitment and piece of mind this little upgrade offers is unbeatable. It may be necessary to smooth out the bore walls to get it installed cause it is a TIGHT fit and the machining is precise, unlike gms poor oiling design and cast. I look forward to a long engine life of prefect oil pressure thanks to this little piece.

Definitely need to sand down alot to make fit. I used my drill/driver, the bolt that came in the kit and 150 grit, and 600grit emery cloth. Took atbout 15 mine to sand down enough to fit snug

Bought this a while back and was looking forward to the improved flow. due to not being able to get bearings the overhaul was delayed. SO today on a Sunday when i go to finish the assembly i oiled up the bar bell and the Hole in the rear of my LH6 Aluminum Block is not machined large enough. OR this thing isn't Machined small enough. it was about .005 difference and certainly not designed for this block. At any rate its in the trash!

I found this to be an awesome little set. The diverter fit perfectly in my lm7. used a plastic screwdriver handle to lightly tap it in. The oil galley plug was very nice also. I especially like the bolt and spacer for the oil pickup tube. Awesome insurance for a performance build. Wonder why GM never used two bolts. The holes are already in the oil pump? I'm glad someone thought of this! I Plan on buying this set again only from a cheaper source this time. My bids are already in. Keep up the good work three mirrors!
