No issues installing this product in my 2006 Escalade lq9 6.0 l engine. Seems to be of quality seals are a little tight pushing in which is probably better than not. Definitely would purchase again if needed.

I ordered this to replace the factory nylon unit on a high mileage iron block. With the carbon buildup in the passage, this had a slight press fit. The o-ring compressed perfectly with a touch of silicone grease applied.I definitely recommend.

Got part due to pricing and how quickly it was accessible. Upon receiving, went to install and found product did not fit, plug was too large for 99 lq4 motor. Ended up just tossing it in a junk drawer and ordering the Melling replacement.

When replacing rear main seal you should replace this because the one in the engine is plastic and brittle. To remove old one I used a drill and screw to remove and replaced it with this aluminum one. If you do it without draining oil some will leak out so be ready to put new one in
