Your cart is empty. Use our mounting template to quickly and easily trace cut outs for single gang and double gang low voltage brackets. Use the centering tick marks to center your opening at the desired height from the floor. For single gang installation, just place it on the wall, use the bubble vials to make sure you're level, trace the inside of the template frame and use your drywall saw to cut. For double gang installation, place the template on the wall, level, trace the inside of the frame, then repeat using the double gang tick marks to extend your original box. Also includes a 4 inch convenience ruler on the edge.
1. Single Gang: Use center ticks ① to center the template at desired height from the floor.
Level using bubble vials ②. Draw a line around the interior of template frame.
Remove template and cut along the line with your drywall saw.
2. Double Gang: Before cutting, draw a second box to extend your single gang box using the double gang tick marks ③. ④ 4" Convenience Ruler

This template is extremely basic. Essentially a plastic rectangle with levels attached. The plastic is some kind of weak bendy plastic, which slightly warped after my basic "materials check," so you'll want to be careful where you stash this.

I have done plenty of low-voltage in-wall bracket installs over the years. This template is simple but clearly will save time and improve accuracy. The built-in leveling bubbles are genius. I will be using this for my future low-voltage in-wall installs. This is well worth the price when considering the time this can save.

This template is nice to have as it makes outlet installation easier thanks to the spirit levels. The price is a bit on the high end but it is still worth getting.
