A lot smaller than I expected but that was fine because I was able to use two instead on one.

If you have a new Toyota Tacoma or almost any new vehicle for that matter, you need these magnets. It’s called machining debris. They didn’t take enough time to clear it all out and it spins main bearings. Buy these magnets and stick them all over your oil pan and on your oil filter or anywhere else you can collect up debris. You might make it. Just don’t overclock the engines.

I use these on my oil filters for extra protection against finer ferrous metal flakes in the oil. They haven’t fallen off of the oil filters on the the vehicles I’m using them on. Slide off and place on the new oil filter at the oil change interval.

The 25x5x3 magnets are super fragile. They're nice and strong, maybe too strong, and you have to be very careful they don't come close enough to snap back together because they will shatter just like that. I lost four in a row to shattering in half before I figured out it wasn't a fluke.

way way strong! Be careful if they are close to each other they come together hard and fast this will pinch skin and can cause magnet to shatter and pieces go flying everywhere, could cause injury. If you need a strong magnet, use. I glued (silicone) on the back side of a shower around opening so I can use fish tank cleaner magnets on the front side to hold shower curtain closed, works great through 3/16" plastic.

Got the thicker one thinking it will be stronger. Not really feeling it. Almost every bar arrived chipped on sides and corners. Underwhelming

These are quite powerful and they are easy to use inside fabric or any needs you might have to hold curtains together.

Neodymium magnets are known for their exceptional strength to size ratio but I am not sure what went wrong here. Unfortunately for me the return window had closed long before I was to use them for the projects that they were intended for ,or I would have immediately returned them. I had assumed that since they were listed as Neodymium, surely they would be super strong as such---NOPE. They were not much stronger than many standard magnets of similar size. I stuck them in my JIC junk drawer and maybe they will be handy for some other use one day. As a result of the inferior quality of this set of magnets, I was forced to buy some actual Neodymium magnets locally that fit my needs for strength and size. Too bad these weren't up to the task ; they were a good deal for the amount price wise.

Like most rare metal magnets these babies are strong and brittle. Not for the average young players. After few minutes of handling and a few accidental oops! That's too close, you find yourself with cracked/broken pieces. I believe the coating is for a smooth and pretty finish, not a protection of the magnets. It would have to be much thicker to prevent cracking on impact from each other, similar to glass. At first, I thought these aren't as strong as stated but after handling I realized it was not the strength but the distance I was misjudging. These babies strengths are an exponent of distance. At the surface, they have an extremely dense magnetic field. As distance increases strength decreases. As the size of the magnet is small the distance of the field is small. All things relative, after a better understanding of the basic characteristics of the material used, I have a greater respect for the making of these. Excellent Product and great price.

I didn't buy these magnets to hold up hand tools or gardening stuff, though I'm sure they would work fine for that. I bought these because my refrigerator is suffering from an extreme case of "mom fridge." It seems like every single piece of paper (mail, artwork, invitation, reminder, etc.) ends up on the fridge. It takes a powerful magnet to hold the layers of crap on the fridge and I'm tired of other magnets just sliding down under the weight. These magnets are EXACTLY what I needed. They are very strong and will pinch your fingers if you aren't careful when trying to separate them. You have to slide the magnet off, you can't just pull it straight up. They aren't unbreakable, so if you play with them, seeing from how far away you can get them to snap back together, you may end up snapping it in half. I haven't had that problem with these yet but I have with other strong magnets in the past.

They are not kidding when they say these are STRONG. I pinched my fingers when trying to pull these apart to put on the fridge, and wow! These definitely could hold up a nice stack of papers with no issues.Pros:1) these are small and yet powerful. These are the perfect fridge magnets as they can hold up all your kid's artwork, but they are not ginormous and clunky. they have a nice, compact bar design that works. I love this.2) silver is a great color, and these don't scratch easily. I love that these can be bumped up against each other, and they don't have gouges taken out of them, etc. Yes, I definitely rubbed them against each other a couple of times when getting them out of the box and pulled apart. No damage to anything.3) I suspect these will last for a bit. I am not hugely concerned these will lose their magnetic power. This is primarily due to the material they are made from; but also because it seems to be higher quality upon visual inspection, and initial experience.Cons:1) I would not let kids use these unless you are into seeing your kids have blood blisters on their fingers, or screaming like mad when they pinch their fingers for the millionth time. I know at some point my daughter will get pinched by these. I hope she learns the first time because it HURTS when you get pinched by these! Man, what a bummer it is that these have to be kept out of reach of children, or at least should be if you have that kid who has to try everything. All in all great magnets, but they definitely are for adult use only!
