These suckers are a lot stronger than you think they're going to be... They are also fragile enough to shatter if you let them grab each other. I like to put them in certain locations on carpentry projects.

They have quite the strength. We have some metal tables in the yard, and keeping those table cloths on them is tricky when it is windy. Not anymore.Another use: I have a metal frame at the door from the hallway into the garage. The magnet now holds my car keys.Great purchase. Love 'em!

They do place the magnet in another casing so you’re not getting just the magnet. They are so strong it’s difficult to separate them. Like you need a tool to do so at times. Super cool for kids or side projects, science experiments or just having a super strong magnet on hand is helpful. The problem i had was identifying N and S poles. It seemed like i was gettin inconsistent polarity for some reason. Maybe bc they are circles. Idk but they are cool.

I purchased these to hang metal art on our walls. I read some negative reviews and decided to test before committing to them. The strongest side is the side with the countersink for a screw head. I put a piece of plastic between the metal and the magnet so as not to scratch the art piece. The magnet held the piece up even with the plastic in between. It was even difficult to slide the magnet to edge to remove it because it is so strong. So, when the magnet is attached to your wall the flat side is against the wall and the strongest side (with the countersink dimple) is out. I'm not certain why folks are struggling to attach these. Once the magnet is anchored with a screw it easily held over 50lbs vertically. I did not try anything heavier because I didn't need it.

I like these magnets! They work well for what I needed. I screwed them onto metal wire racks (2 per rack) and used them to hold the racks on my fridge.Pros:The magnets worked well for holding the racks even when I put some spice and syrup bottles on them. I was worried about the magnetic bond being too strong that I wouldn't be able to get them off but that wasn't the case. I can still slide them around on the fridge pretty easily.It is tricky (but not impossible) to pry them up from the fridge but I can slide them to the edge and grab them from there.Cons:There is a weight limit and it definitely isn't 110 lbs. The racks would start to slide down once I started to get close to about 1.3 lbs.I did find that the magnets sometimes left scratch marks on the fridge but that might be my fault from being too careless. The magnets do come with foam pads that I I believe you can stick on the magnet if something like this is a problem. However, I am not sure what they are for because the box came with no instructions.I find it odd that these came with only 6 screws- one for each magnet. These kinds of things usually come with spare screws just in case, so just make sure you plan accordingly and don't lose track of them
