About this item

  • 【STRONG POWERFUL】These strong round magnets made of neodymium magnetic materia, unbelievable holding power for the small size, per strong rare earth magnet can up to 20 pound holding power. Because the magnet is protected inside the steel cup, it greatly increases the lifespan of the neodymium magnet. Please note that the tensile force of the product is maximum in the vertical direction and less in the horizontal direction than in the hysteresis direction.
  • 【MAGNETS COATED】Strong magnets has Black epoxy+ Nickel+ Copper triple layer coated. The best coating available, which provides a shiny and rust resistant protection for the cup magnets. in addition, cabinet magnets are very useful in magnetic locks for cabinets and locker magnets.
  • 【PRODUCT SIZE】Although the rare earth magnets size is small:0.63x0.19inch(16mm x5mm),but this circular lathe pot magnet has a strong adsorption force, which can keep cabinet door, sliding wardrobe door, drawer or duette blinds closed. The compact design makes rare earth magnets lightweight, easy to carry.

These magnets are amazing. In most cases they are over powered for my use cases.

I think these were overkill for what I needed! I just wanted to make sure they didn't fall off a moving truck and there is NO danger of that! I have to pull hard, rocking or even sliding them to an edge to get them off and I'm not a weak guy.I did however notice that the magnet material is VERY brittle, so be careful of that.

These are nice magnets but I mistakenly thought they would include matching non magnetic steel discs.

20lb magnets to hold 1lb cars. Worked like a charm. No slip, no issues. Would recommend. Magnets are penny sized (dia)

Used these to replace the magnets on some magnetic clips I have. These things hold very strong. Can't pull them straight off of metal, have to slide them to an edge and then lift them off. Impressive Hold. I didn't use the screws that were included, I just super glued them to my clips. Holding up well. Description says 60 pound hold. It really is that strong.

Bought them to replace our old magnets that we had holding the bottom of the netting on our gazebo. Our old "super strong" magnets would constantly be moved and sent flying by the wind. These work amazing. We just sold our house and the gazebo stayed and we recommended these to the woman who bought the house.

For the strength and price, these magnets are five star. I don't know for sure about the 150lb strength claim, but they are certainly powerful enough for my current project, and they must be handled with care.Unlike what others have reported here, the provided screws look like they will be flush with the cup side of the center hole, which is on the bare side of the magnet. Maybe they corrected the design? That said:- Unlike other bulk magnets I've purchased on Amazon, these are boxed without plastic spacers, so it takes a good amount of effort to pry them apart.-In the process of prying these apart, I scratched the finish on one of the magnets - It appears that these are not coated, but painted. If you need a thick coating for your application, this could be a concern. So yeah, good strong magnets, and reasonably priced, but you may want to read all of the reviews to get the best idea of what to expect. :)

I didn't screw them into anything but sewed them into a thermal cover to attach them to a steel building column. I was impressed by the magnetism.

Like these a lot. I keep finding more uses for them. Kind of dangerous if you get between them. Pinch you good. 110lb ones work well too. I use them to hold the gate closed instead of a latch.

These magnets are strong. Stronger than the screw into drywall, so make sure what you are holding in place can anchor into the drywall and not pull the screw out. One will EASILY hold a Displate metal poster.

These are very good magnets to secure Displate metal posters to the wall. There are a few things you need to understand first though. The screws that come with the magnets are too short. They are only long enough to go through the drywall. There are two problems with that. 1) When you pull Displates off the wall the entire magnet and screw are likely to come out of the wall with the Displate. 2) When you are trying to adjust the position of the Displate, the screw will likely get loose and will pull out from the magnet which will scratch the back of your Displate (not the end of the world I don't think, but personally I'd rather not damage my Displate at all). You really need screws that will go all the way into the stud. The screw you use absolutely must have a flat head, so as not to scratch the Displate. Also that head must fit all the way into the magnet so that it is less likely to scratch the Displate. Screws size #6 seemed to do the job perfectly (#8 may work but more likely to scratch imo). The head and actual screw of the #6 size screws appear to be smaller in circumference than even the screws that come with the magnets, so they fit into the magnet hole nicely. I was unable to find 1.25 inch long #6 wood screws at the hardware store so I went with 1.5 inch long #6 wood screws and they worked nicely. I think 1 inch long screws would work well too. You just want to make sure it goes into the wood stud located behind the drywall (use a stud finder to locate the stud).Magnets are delicate, so you want to screw the magnet by hand. You just want to make sure the screw is not protruding out of the magnet but don't tighten it too much. If the magnet is not moving at all then it's definitely tight enough. I broke one of my magnets, cracking it in 3 spots. It was my own fault as I was trying to use a screw that was a bit too big and didn't want it to protrude out and I screwed a little too tight. Even though it broke, it appears to be working just fine so I left it in the wall.It appears that a single magnet is sufficiently strong to hold a Displate in place (I have one large Displate poster being held by a single one of these magnets). In general, regardless of the magnet's strength, it's best to use at least 2 magnets per Displate because if you just use 1 often times the Displate will look funny either based on how it bends or how it hangs. I recommend either a combination of at least 2 of these magnets or 1 of these magnets plus the 2 magnets that come with the Displate.Other reviews complain that the magnet currently being sold is weaker than the magnet that used to be sold. This is absolute true. These magnets are substantially weaker than the old ones. However, for the purpose of Displates, I would argue that these weaker magnets are SUPERIOR to the old magnets. Displates simply don't require all that power. These are easier to separate from one another which is nice but most importantly these are thinner than the old magnets. Having a thinner magnet is nice because it means your Displate won't protrude so far off the wall.I do feel the 95lb claim on this magnet is blatantly false and because of that I'm subtracting a star. However, large Displates are only 3lbs so a super powerful magnet is not required. If I were using my magnets to hold tools or a handgun then I would probably want something more powerful but for the purposes of Displate metal posters these are nearly perfect aside from the fact that you need to get separate #6 screws to ensure that the magnets attach to the stud rather than just the drywall.
