These are so soft and make a great liner for a dog crate mat. My dog has spilled her water on them and they were leak resistant as advertised. I recommend getting the 2-pack so if one gets dirty or wet you have another one in hand. They also have dots on the bottom that keep them from slipping.

My KitKat is getting older, like me. She has a little trouble hitting the litter box. I’ve washed these three times and they are still absorbent and spill proof.

Would have given this 5 stars except for the very long drying time & misleading info. It was described as "We recommend put in dryer at low temperature to keep the surface fluffy back up to its original state for longer use". However the mat has an attached tag that states- DRY FLAT, DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. On a warm summer day I placed the washed wet mat outdoors to dry- it took about 3 hours to dry (and I had to flip it to dry evenly). If this is the only pad you buy, you probably would need more than 2. It does work well for our 9lb. 9 year old cat. He's developed a night time sleep incontinence problem. I bought the smallest mat size & it contained all the urine he produced overnight. However it does not absorb the urine as something like a towel does, on the mat the urine seeps thru the thin fleece layer and spreads out over the bottom rubber layer.I do like that the mat is available in a number of different sizes, and compared to other pee pads we tried this one has a softer, more flexible feel.

Ordered 2 and my dog loves them as they are soft and work well. They are not thick but just enough to keep warm and stay dry. Also I have washed them and they come out just like new.
