Deceptive description: junk product:This is one of the longest range IR illuminators on Amazon, and I expected to see a dramatic difference with my IR security camera when I plugged it in. Unfortunately, I saw no difference at first, and thought it was dead on arrival. However, I could see the faint red glow of the LED's, and knew it was on.After some experimentation, I discovered that the main beam is incredibly focused on a small point at 20 feeef, along with a seconary halo at 60-80 degrees, and with mostly darkness in between. The product claimed to have a 330 ft range, but it couldn't even produce enough dispersed light to find the output in my living room easily.Conclusions:1) Very uneven light dispersion. I was worried about this when I saw the large LED's. The outer ring of LED's make the faint light halo, while everything inside is focused on a point.2) Incredibly focused beam on a small point makes this product useless for short range illumination. It's either too much or too little: the small beam makes whiteout on that point, while failing to light much more around it.3) Product is useless for long range illumination because beam is too weak to pick our any details. I went outside and shined it at objects at various distances to see how it performed, and it was useless.4) Beam distance is far less than advertised 330 feet: probably more like 150-200 feet at most. The useful range of this product is even less, 20-40 feet.I feel like I had been scammed. I would have never purchased this product if I knew then what I see tonight with my own eyees
