- Materials: plastic, felt strip, and foam. The foam will be the first to wear out. Technically you can replace the foam and felt as you are able to separate the two pieces of plastic and remove them from the center. But at $10 it might not be worth it to do all the cutting to prep it to fit.- The paper strips are double sided.

This is a life saver if you have a project with lots of different colors. I purchased a kit that had 25 colors and the flimsy card the thread came on bent and ripped in several places. I really like that the cards are double sided and blank so you can decide if you want to use symbol or number when filling in the card. The floss is held securely even when I carry it in a bag. For the larger quantities of one color, I split them between 2 or 3 pegs because I found the excess floss would come off the peg but there are enough pegs to do this comfortably. I will be getting another one of these for the second project I have going!

This is a good size and can hold a lot of different colors. It helps keep your project organized. I feel it is a great value. It's so easy to use.
