When local craft places have sales you can get DMC floss for about 50 cents per skein--and it's the highest quality Egyptian cotton. I have no reason to believe this isn't also high quality Egyptian cotton, but at its current price, it's close to a dollar per skein. If you need to stock up on one color, it may be worth it to get them all from the same lot, however. I dyed this floss with fiber reactive dyes and it took the dye well and held up to the process well. I have no reservations about it except for the cost.

My kids have quite a few stuffed animals with various detailing that has come loose. Regular thread is a little too thin to really hold a stuffed animal together, so this embroidery floss is perfect! The beige is a dark ivory color, which is a nice neutral for fixing any torn stuffed animals that come my way. The floss has been easy to use, and everything has held up well so far!

This seems like good quality embroidery thread. I am not an expert and had just gotten back into using it after a long spell of not, but this seems good from what I have tried so far with it. It feels good, not like thread that will break easily. The color is as it shows in their pictures. I would get it again.

Really nice bundle of embroidery floss here! The finish is soft and smooth with a soft, beautiful finish. Very smooth fibers with no flaws or slubs that I can see - seems like excellent consistency. Strong floss, and easy to separate the strands. Seems like it compares well with the famous name brand, but it's a much better value. I think this floss will work really well for the project I have in mind, at a good savings compared to the name brand.

I ordered beige which is more of an off-white. I plan to use it for embroidery and my daughter will use some of it to make friendship bracelets. The threads are smooth and don't snag. I haven't seen any breakage so far.
