I’ve been using the Logitech MX ERGO for a while now, and it’s a game-changer for long hours at the computer. The feel is amazing, and the ergonomic design really makes a difference. Just make sure to consistently clean the sensor under the ball to keep it running smoothly.I’ve had a couple of these—one had an issue with the left click failing, but I still keep coming back because it’s that good. If you’re at your desk a lot, this is definitely worth having in your setup.

No wrist or finger pain, practical and easy to use. This is the third-generation Logi trackball that I use.

I was having severe, constantly worsening wrist and forearm pain. I suspected that it was from a high level of computer use, but wasn't sure. I eventually decided that I had to try something and bought one of these to see if it would help. Within about a week of use the pain was gone. I remain totally astounded. I recommend that ANYONE who sits at a computer for extended periods of time get one of these, pain or not. Don't risk it: spend the money and get this ultra premium products and save yourself the trouble and literal pain.

I used to have the M570 trackball. Loved it. I had several, actually. But I felt it was time to get something new. Something possibly better? I didn't even know they made the MX Ergo. I did a little research and thought, "Yeah, I think I will get that one." So I did. When I got it, everything was smooth. No problems setting up or charging it, Solid buy.But then it was the clicking. The clicking that I could not get over how loud it was. Left click and it is all you hear after a while. I kept thinking, "I will get used to it, it'll go away, it's not that bad, oh well just deal with it, etc." But the clicking was distracting. It wasn't loud in the traditional sense, it is just... noticeable. When I buy a premium mouse, I don't want to have the clicking sound be super noticeable. It can absolutely be present, but not distracting. I watched a view videos on YouTube on how to quiet the clicker. I was like, "Naw, no way. Not for me. I just got this mouse and I am not taking it apart and messing around with those pieces inside. No way." Then last Saturday night, I said, "I am taking this thing apart and I messing with those pieces inside." Something had to be done. Now, I am an electronics person, so taking it apart and figuring out how to undo the ribbon cables and such was not so difficult. But, for some, I imagine it could be very difficult. Anyway, it was either that or soldering new silent switches on it. Which I was prepared to do and still might do. Anyway, I get inside the little clicker switch box, tinker around with the top metal piece that you need to lower and.... it worked. Put it back together and now I can focus on more important things. Like how silent the clicking is.... that's my life though. That's how it works. One constant revolving door.Anyway, still gave it five stars. Love the programmable buttons. Saves ample time and it truly feels better in your hand. Plus, unlike the M570 it has this rubbery coating that isn't just straight plastic. So that helps with the comfort. Feels solid too. The thing stays put and it's solid. Should have given it 4.5 stars cause of the clicking, but I know it won't bother everyone and it is a great mouse so 5 stars.

Got this for home and work after my co-worker recommended an older version. I ordered and received in excellent condition. I live the metal accents that give this a solid feel and construction. It doesn't shift or move around during use. I also love the magnetic base that allows you to adjust the angle or hand position. Track ball is smooth and easily removable for cleaning. Charged this as soon as I received it and haven't had to charge since then and it's been about two months of using it everyday working from home and weekend home use. Software installs pretty easily.I love the buttons that allow you to switch between devices, it's simple and easy and works seamlessly. I do wish Logitech would label the USB receiver because if you own more than one logitech device you can't tell them apart. I also love the precision button that allows slows down the mouse speed, I use this a lot for screenshots and highlighting and it recently came in really handy for digital signatures for signing electronic documents. My only CON are with the FLOW software. I have a work laptop and a home pc with dual 32' monitors. Since most of my tools are web based, I use my laptop as a third monitor, exclusively so that I can monitor Teams and respond to chats without interrupting my multitab workflow on my other monitors. The flow software allows your mouse to "flow" seamlessly between the two screens by holding CTRL or you can set it to detect when the mouse moves to the edge of the screen. Problem is there is a slight delay about 4 to 6 seconds each time you need to move the mouse over to interact with things on the other computer. It's annoying and not only that several times the FLOW config would disconnect and I would have to reset the entire thing before it would start working again. I started looking for alternatives and found a great KVM software from Stardock called Multiplicity that solves the problem and allows me to move seamlessly from screen to screen with no delay or holding CTRL.This mouse has officially become my primary favorite pointing device. I no longer feel that slight pain in my wrists that I used to feel. The onset of carpel tunnel I'm sure. Do yourself a favor and switch to this puppy NOW, if you're on the computer all day.
