Love this mouse. Great price and works well. You do have to clean every so often by popping the track ball out, otherwise the ball will stick or stutter when in use. I also love the fact I can change the speed of the cursor movement.

It's absolutely a great product. I've used the Microsoft Optical Ball mouse since they first came out. I have about 10 of them and have replaced the steel bearings with ceramic through the years due to flat spots on the bearings. My son and I decided we were going to try a different mouse. Retire these because they have been discontinued for years now. What once cost around 30 bucks became 300 to buy one, if you could find one. These ProtoArc Wired Trackball Mice are as close as I could get. Not only is the price cheap, but it's exactly as described and performs as described. My son and I both agree it's the best choice we could have made. It's a bit smaller and lighter, and the ball is a bit smaller, yet very comfortable to use and much quieter and smoother than I could have imagined. It's been about three weeks so we feel now is time for our review and share our findings. And it's very easy to clean when cleaning is needed. We, (My son and I) Give this mouse a thumbs up and 10 stars.

I've been using a trackball since the 1980's, and all of them have been Logitech. Wired works best with KVMs, and It's getting harder to find wired trackballs, so every once in a while I try out an off brand one to replace my aging trackball. Most had issues, so I'm still using the old one.This one is a slightly different shape than the old one I am using, and the ball movement is MUCH smoother, so it took a few days to get used to it. Once used to it, the decision to keep using it was really easy. This is a nice trackball.The one thing that I would change is the location of the DPI switch. Under normal use, it's not a problem, but when I put things away for the day and start up a game: During game play, I sometimes change the DPI inadvertently.All in all: Really pleased with this trackball.Gord

This replaced a logi MX Ergo mouse after the usual left click button wearing out.This mouse is working well. Has basically the same features, and similar controls and feels when compared to the ergo. It doesn't have the multi angle /magnetic base of a MX Ergo,Bluetooth connections works. I haven't try the multiple connect yet. The switch is on the bottom so not as convenient as Ergo. It also comes with a USB dongle which I didn't use.The sensitive control is on the top, a tap then use the scroll to adjust. Works fine.Charging with USB-c was quick. Will see how long a single charge last.Only used for three days so far, For the price, this is great. I can get 3 or 4 of these for the prices on one MX Ergo.I will try to remember to update if it breaks, but no promises.

Ho deciso di acquistare il ProtoArc EM04 per le sue caratteristiche ergonomiche e la versatilità nelle connessioni (Bluetooth e 2.4G), ed è stato senza dubbio una scelta azzeccata. Il design è ben studiato: la trackball è precisa e fluida, permettendo di lavorare o navigare per ore senza affaticare la mano. L'ergonomia è davvero ottima, perfetta per chi trascorre molto tempo al computer.Rispetto al modello originale, si nota una leggera differenza nei materiali: il mouse ha una sensazione più plasticosa, che potrebbe non piacere a chi cerca una finitura più premium. It feels very lightweight, maybe a bit cheap. But it works well. Came packaged nicely with info on customer care.Trackballs by nature need to be cleaned a lot, so I always make sure I have clean hands when using it and pop the ball out once daily to clean the bearings with a q-tip. If you don’t want this maintenance, track balls in general may not be for you. But I’m happy so far and don’t feel like it gets bound up very often.I’ve only charged it once and have used it for work and playing games and it’s still holding that charge. Couldn’t tell you how many hours exactly, but it’s gotta be close to 50+ hours. I love that it can remember up to three devices, so I can switch between my work laptop and personal with ease. There’s a nice little button that quickly adjusts your cursor speed, which I actually use a lot for work - I slow it down a lot when working on Excel sheets so the movement is less exaggerated.I got this mouse because I’m getting old and my knuckles started to hurt from my other mouse lol. This has eliminated that problem!It’s no Logitech, feels like a lower quality plastic, but everything else has been awesome about it. Definitely a great ergonomic option on a budget. Totally recommend!

I purchased this mouse when it was less than $22. With that said, I am blown away by the quality of it for that price point. Name brand manufacturers can't hold a candle to that in my opinion. I am very happy with the overall build quality, it is constructed from a thin and lightweight plastic. Matter of fact, the overall heft of the device is rather poor. But that doesn't bother me because I purchased this mouse to travel. It fits nicely in my bag, but is a little more bulky than traditional mice - which is to be expected. It sits well in my hand and was very easy to setup with my laptop. It seems to have up to 3 different selectable Bluetooth connections. They can be switched between using a button and LED on the bottom of the mouse. Great for use with multiple devices. It even includes a dedicated USB dongle for devices that do not support bluetooth connectivity.As for features, again I am blown away by what this mouse packs inside for only $22. Good scroll wheel, dedicated forward and back buttons for web browsing, and a dedicated DPI button to change sensitivity on the fly. You can charge the mouse while using it (i'm looking at you, Apple) and the battery life is excellent. I rarely need to charge it and I use this mouse daily.I highly recommend this mouse to both the seasoned professional, and also the newbie looking to get started using a trackball.
