I have purchased 4 of these....One for our daughter, one for our older side by side and one for stand alone freezer.One sensor on original failed after a half dozen years and had to be replaced.Good price and has all the features. I find the temperature range recording very helpful...I have checked the temp accuracy with multimeter and within a couple degrees.

Easy to get the sensors in place and all set up. Accuracy seems spot on when compared to an actual thermometer. Easy to read and keep up with. Can't tell about battery life but it's been running for 2 1/2 months and no indication of low batteries.

It was impossible to set the alarms. If you want to know the temps, the unit does that. However, if you want an alarm to sound when the temperature is too high, go to Elsware.

I had high hopes for this system. After having three failed compressors in our 5-year-old fridge, I wanted an audible alarm if the temps go up in our new fridge. The one sensor would not turn on with new batteries. After changing the batteries, it turned on. That particular sensor was way off, setting off the alarm that could barely be heard across the house. We used another thermometer to verify the temps. I'm returning this and looking for a reliable one that will notify my phone of temp changes.

With an old fridge and deep freezer I figured it was time to get a thermometer to keep an eye on things. I am so glad I did. The temperature on both was off. I have been using it for two months now and the batteries are still holding up very well. I have had zero issues with any of the units.Set up is really easy. Simply place a sensor in the fridge and turn on the monitor. Do the same for the other one which I put in my deep freezer. The monitor/display unit automatically connected to the two sensors and started showing the readings. That was it. All that was left to do was to put the monitor/display unit on the fridge door by way of the built in magnets and adjust the fridge and/or freezer settings.This is a fantastic way to make sure you get the best operation of your fridge and freezer so that your food is at the best temperature. A simple device that is lowering my energy bills as I had the freeze working to keep it a lot colder than it was supposed to be. To sum up I am very happy I got this set.

This set seems to work OK, but I do notice that the temperature will fluctuate and be inconsistent when checking it with a thermometer in the freezer. Not sure I would rely on this to tell me the correct temp. It is nice to see it remotely and I guess if you access the freezer often enough you would know if it wasn't accurate enough.

Yes, you can use several sets of these side-by-side. I have 3 sets working measuring 6 temperatures, all within a few feet of each other. After they pair (a few rooms away from the other working units) they keep that pairing as you change batteries.
