As a mechanic for way more years than I can say, I have used Loctite for so many things on cars. This one is Dielectric Grease. It may even cost a little more and it is worth every penny. I had an ignition module quit on my Pontiac Bonneville. Here I had an old module I took off a car I stripped down and knew it worked, but needed the heat sink of this grease, and when I saw their name on it I knew I found what I needed. The car running well after several months.

I carry it in my motorcycle tool bag, just in case. Chances are it would not be needed but it is so small, so why not.
