Quite a bundle of 4 locks and a lot of accessories here with this red lockout tag kit available through brand BOVINSKY. I had heard of this kind of lock system before but had never had a need for such a thing until now, working in an electrical and apartment update environment, and it seems to be a very useful set for my needs.These locks are OSHA compliant, and they specifically say "Danger: Locked Out — Do NOT Remove" or "Do NOT Operate" right on each one, so it gives me an extra-added sense of security knowing that if any of these are tampered with, the instructions were very clear with no room for human "error" that could create a... miscommunication between me and and anyone else.Overall, just a really great, durable and reusable kit, with options for many scenarios. 5 stars.

This kit is a great basics kit for work, providing our team with a range of lockout tags, locks, keys, hasps etc. that work well for smaller lockout jobs and meets the required safety criteria.We have more expensive larger kits for our complicated offsite equipment lockouts but for in-house this does the job.All the components are really well made and we were impressed with the quality. We have had no issues with defects or failures to date.As far as electrical lockouts go this kit covers the basics but I would haven't minded seeing some valve lockouts in the mix since we occasionally have to lock those out too on our smaller projects.Overall though a great basics kits that includes everything you need to get started and meet OHSA requirements.

This is a good starter with basics lock and lockout hasp, so multiple people can work on the same circuits.The lock comes with 2 keys each, one spare and one for the worker, there is no need for more keys. This is intended to be this way so only the worker who locked the circuit can unlock it. For multiple workers, they must each have their own lock on the hasp, so the circuit can be restored only when the last worker is done. A spare key should only be used to add a hasp to a lock, this is why some work places require that you install a hasp every time, even if you are alone, to prevent others from touching your locks.The only imitation is that it is when trying to lock 2 sibling breakers that are not linked. The dual pole work well for breakers that are linked together, but rely on this link to stay in place since it has no teeth to hold on. Single pole locks are large and cannot be placed side by side. The medium multipole is not wide enough to grab 3 breakers on a 240V panel, it may be better suited for commercial panel, but for 240V it can only grab 2, and the sibling breakers on each side will be locked too, so you end up with 4 circuits off, which is not ideal, but potentially correct. The idea here is I want to lock circuits even in residential area. The large locks look good, but my panels all have tabs for locks, so the large lock cannot fit in.On a side note, the description shows a picture of the lock installed on a Square D load centre. This is horrible photoshop. In reality, the black section is wider than the QO breaker by a good 20-30%, and the red cleat can and must be removed; otherwise, with the teeth underneath it, the lock is so high that it does not grab the breaker lever. With the cleat removed, it works good, even with QO GFCI/arc faults breaker.

This kit represents an excellent value for a small shop, or for occupational or safety trainers like me. Boviisky has put together a small kit that can handle just about any lockout task that might come up in a small shop. You get four locks, each with two keys, plus an assortment of electrical locking devices to cover breakers, disconnects, swithes, and plugs. And you get a handy carrying case to keep it all together.PROS: The included gear is sturdy enough to last for a good long time.The included tags are tough, tear and water resistant and won't pull free easily, complying with OSHA standards.The zip ties are for attaching tags to locking devices only; don't use them as a locking device!The kit is small, easily stowable in a tool box, and the carrying case includes belt loop holes, although it's a bit large for a fanny pack. Those belt loop holes work well to attach the bag to a standard tool bag as a ride-along, which is good.Perfect size for a training kit. I have a small portable board with breakers, valves, and disconnects and this kit it the perfet size to demonstrate lockout procedures in a classroom setting.The included cord locking device is a winner! Many kits omit these very useful devices, so it's nice to see one included here.CONS: LO/TO isn't just electrical. I'd like to see a few locking devices for valves included.The larger breaker locking devices are two pieces, held together for shipping with a twist tie. IN real world use, the pieces could easily get separated and lost.As a small kit, this is inadequate for complex lockouts.To be fair, this is a starter kit only; it wasn't designed to work for complicated systems with multiple energy isolation points.I would like to see an instructional video on installing the breaker locking devices. I'm experienced enough that it isn't a problem for me, but newer folks may have issues.OVERALL: This is an excellent value for use in a small shop, of for a Training Department. I will be using this kit frequently in both roles, and adding a few more pieces from Boviisky to fill in the gaps.Well worth the money.

The Lockout Tagout Kit is an essential safety kit for electrical maintenance. I'm what one calles a 'retired' electrician. All that means is that I left all their required tools with the company when I left. That doesn't mean I'm not still working as an electrician, it just means that they got all of their specialty tools back. A full lock out/tag out kit was one of them. I needed a good set, not al full time every day use one, but a set that would get me through all those local odd jobs that other people have access to the site all day. Cousins, aunts, brother, friends...all those 'hey, can you come do this for me' kinda jobs.This kit fit that bill perfectly. I'm not worrying about Joe Average flipping breakers in a 460V cabinet while I'm working in there. I'm worried about 'honey, the toaster isn't working...which breaker is it again' while I'm replacing outlets. The kit comes with enough pieces and parts to make it usable in both an light industrial application (some big lockouts in this kit) down to your normal SquareD Homeline house panel.The cord cover was a nice touch, and is plenty large to fit in a 30A 3ph 480V twistlock plug and easily close and lock it.So, you retired, don't have a $$$ setup but still need to look like you're doing what you're supposed to be doing...this kit checks all the right boxes, with enough pieces left over to keep Uncle Roger from doing the neutron dance.

Great Kit. Includes Lockouts for breaker panel which a lot you have to buy separate. Has everything you need.

It's a complete lockout kit, the real advantage is the presence of breaker clamps, they are suitable for most common panels like squareD and Siemens.The quality of the locks and parts is good and won't be unintentionally broken.At least .... from my testing
