This is a terrible product and would not recommend. I guess its ok for the low cost...but most definitely would not keep an animal safe

This product I was definitely a very good choice to get, bought it to transport some of the finches I breed and I fit 3 of them comfortably. I’ve personally never give travel boxes a chance due to some previous bad experiences but this ones are definitely worth buying, I got 10 of them. Not to mention the price, can’t beat it. Will buy more once I run out, and recommend it to all my friends in the hobby.

I needed a carrier to take my budgies to the vet for nail trims and general check over. I decided that this box might be ok for that short trip. I should have used a ruler! This box is way too small for a budgies to fit comfortably. It is very flimsy and I wouldn't trust it to hold anything. It doesnt open on the top, you have to open it from the side. Live and learn I guess. Will be returning, even though the cost so was little. I purchased 10 of them thinking they would probably get dirty and you cant clean cardboard.

These are quite small but a perfect box to send a small/medium bird home with their new owners. I use them for budgies/parrotlets,finches and lovebirds. They are too small for cockatiels as a reference. Cheap, recyclable and secure.

These are very small but work perfectly for individual Zebra Finches who have only a short trip home. I will be using them from now on!

This little box is completely suitable for small critters. SMALL critters. Hamsters, gerbils, and small birds as described. I was looking and looking for a cardboard carrier and didn't read the description very well. I have a sun conure and need to get him to the vet for a nail trim and this little box would be more like a coffin for him. My bad. It is about the same thickness and weight as a cereal box. I think that it would be sufficient for small trips, but most critters gnaw at cardboard, so it may be a one-time use item...but at $0.99, that is probably okay.Luckily I also ordered another, relatively inexpensive carrier, (the Hagen Living World Pet Carrier, Red/Grey) and it will work marvelously.
