Ladybug eat insects during both the adult and larval stages, so you can buy ladybugs as adults and continue to have live ladybugs eating through other parts of their life cycle as they reproduce. Had aphids on squash put the ladybugs in the bed then covered with row cover to allow a little more time to eat and lay eggs before they dispersed. Seemed to help.

The seller delivered a week prior to commitment, which was ~4 weeks. Super alive bugs - USPS delivery person refused to put them in the box. Hand delivered. Great instructions (sunset release). We just have a balcony garden so the quantity was overkill (fat spider in the corner 3 days later). But, see the ladybugs frequently and generally on the plants I was worried about (aphids). Everyone happy.Recommended.

I have been ordering these ladybugs nearly every year right when my plants take off and the aphids take over. They have always arrived in great condition and almost all alive. I swear by them for effective pest control, but this order took waaaaaaay longer than usual. I ordered in early June and they did ship for three weeks. When the arrived, I immediately grabbed them from the porch so they wouldn’t sit out in the heat, and upon opening the box, I could see about half were already dead.

The only thing I would take away is probably the net that the ladybugs are put into. I would recommend a more suitable replacement due to the poor little lady bugs legs getting stuck into the netting they are packaged into. Not all, but enough that I noticed were dead from it. Over all not bad for the money. Will let you know how predator season comes along. They’re in my greenhouse in Az.
