About this item

  • EASY-TO-USE: Designed for use with an electric drill 2500 rpm or greater, less than 2400 rpm will lower the performance; attaches to the drill and connect to standard 3/4-inch garden hose or tubing
  • APPLICATIONS: This cost-effective device is ideal for transferring fluids, draining sinks, dishwashers, water heaters, aquariums, or other shallow areas; DO NOT USE FOR TRANSFERRING FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
  • HOSE KIT INCLUDED: Includes 32-inch length of garden hose, 32-in. length of 1/4-in. O.D. tubing, and adapter for tubing; hose for discharge needed (not included) if using the garden hose on the inlet
  • ASSEMBLY: Attach the pump like you would a drill bit, install the adapter, add the tubing to the inlet, and the hose to the discharge and start the drill in the forward position at full speed
  • FLOW: Performance is related to the speed of the drill; a drill speed of 2500 RPM is recommended; 154 GPH at 2500 RPM; battery operated drills lose power and may not perform as expected

Designed for use with an electric hand drill, the LG-DPHK contains a drill pump, a 32-inch length of 3/4-inch garden hose, a 32-inch length of 1/4-inch O.D. tubing, and an adapter for the tubing.

The pump is self-priming and connects to a 3/4-inch standard garden hose on the discharge port. If the tubing is used on the intake port, the garden hose can be used on the discharge port, if the garden hose is used on the intake port, another garden hose will be needed on the discharge (not included). Ideal for removing oil, draining sinks, water heaters, aquariums, etc.

The power of this pump is directly related to the power of the drill. A 2500 RPM electric drill is recommended as battery powered drills charging capabilities can lessen over time and the drill may not perform at full expectation and could affect the performance of the drill pump.

DO NOT USE FOR TRANSFERRING FLAMABLE LIQUIDS!

This hand drill pump is slower than Christmas even with a high speed drill. Honestly, I can manually pump faster than this device. I have owned a hand drill pump before and it was much faster than this device. If at all possible, steer clear of this pump.

It is not self priming. Completely useless for its intended purpose. I tried it with a new Ridgid brushless drill. Couldn't lift the water more than an inch or so.

I tried to pump from a pond into a 100' downhill hose, and there was only a dribble.

I used this thing for about 20min. and it stopped flowing water. Now I know pump because that is what I do for a living. So yes before you wonder, yes it was primed and not ran dry. This thing is just JUNK.
