The Wing Span has a fixed width of 50 In. and a stand-off of 12 In. for working around windows, rain gutters, bushes, overhangs and other obstacles; the Wing Span's extra width adds even more versatility to any of the Little Giant ladders.

I liked this stabilizer much better than trying to work around the windows. Set the stabilizer arm on each side of second floor windows, scraped out the old silicone and replaced with new silicone. It was really simple to put together. Strong and gave me confidence ladder would not go thru the window. It did not want to slide on the brick.

As per the title, sturdy, well built, does what it is supposed to do. I almost gave it 5 stars but I think it could be improved, so I settled for 4 star. If the following could be improved it would be the perfect product:1 - adjust the locking mechanism so that it can be mounted without having to be extend the ladder at all, currently you need to extend it out by at least one rung.2 - find a way for the stabilizer arms to be oriented more steeply towards the bottom for when used to go on a roof with a mild slope. Currently between the need to extend the ladder and the orientation of the arms (even when mounted upside down), my ladder needs to be put with a much bigger incline that normal, taking a lot of space and augmenting the stress on the ladder and on the roof edge. It is also more prone to slippage that way, although the arms on the roof compensate for that a bit. All of this would go away if 1&2 were addressed. Not withstanding the above, great as it is for setting on a wall.

The Little Giant Ladder Wing Span/Wall Standoff was easy to install and worked very well. I purchased this item so that my ladder would not be leaning on my gutters and potentially damage them when I was cleaning them and to provide stability when washing the exterior of windows. I was extremely pleased with the ease of installation and the stability of the ladder once the standoff was installed. You do need to ensure the standoff is oriented correctly so the rubber pads rest completely flat against the side of the house. I would definitely recommend this item based upon my experience.

Accessoire nécessaire pour éloigner l'échelle du mur et éviter d'écraser la gouttière. Il existe à priori un autre modèle qui à deux positions.Bonne qualité.

After falling off a tall ladder in my youth and getting injured, I have never been fond of heights or ladders. With owning an older mobile home with a metal roof, you do what you have to to maintain it. In order to feel safer doing these high jobs, I purchased the Little Giant ladder. I LOVE my Little Giant, however, I found doing some roof sealing was nearly impossible with the ladder against the roof edge. I was excited to find this gem in Amazon and I was not disappointed! This wing span is a must if you have this type of ladder. It was very easy to put on/take off, and I felt way safer than with just the ladder alone. I also didn't have my face right up against where I was working. The only negative for me on this, was that this added extra weight to an already heavy ladder. Otherwise, 5 Stars!

I've got a Gorilla 22 ft. MPXA multi-position ladder. Unfortunately, they don't have any real accessories for this line - including a stand-off. I'd read that the rung shape for the gorilla and Little Giant ladders were roughly the same, so I gave it a try.Is the rung shape the same? Roughly... yes. The same... no.Will it work... yes - with a little light persuasion. Here's how it worked for me...This has to go on the second rung down from the top to avoid bracing. The opening isn't quite large enough to fit over the rung, so I widened it with a piece of scrap 2X4 (just slightly longer than the clamp to ensure even pressure) and some gentle tapping with a hammer. By gentle, I really mean some pretty serious pounding until the opening was just wide enough to latch the securement. Be careful... this is aluminum and aluminum isn't very flexible. Don't go all beast mode and try to widen with a single ridiculous smash with a sledge hammer.Long story longer...It works great for me - very stable and secure.*****This is an unintended use, so be careful and don't get mad at Little Giant if this doesn't work for your specific non-Little Giant product application.

I purchased this ladder stabilizer a few days ago and had a chance to try it out yesterday on my Gorilla ladder. For those of you who don’t know, the Gorilla ladder is basically a clone of the Little Giant ladder, but is less expensive. This ladder stabilizer fit it like a glove and worked perfectly! The stabilizer is very heavy duty & surprisingly sturdy, but does add a bit of weight to the top of the ladder making it a little harder to raise up if you are an older senior citizen like me. It is well worth the extra effort as I have never felt more secure & safer on a ladder then I did yesterday using this great device. One important thing to be aware of is that it is actually like having two stabilizers in one. If you mount the stabilizer to the ladder with the LABEL on the center piece facing normally, the standoff is at the correct angle to hold the ladder against the side wall of the house. If you mount the stabilizer to the ladder with the LABEL on the center piece facing UPSIDE DOWN, it changes the angle of the standoffs and worked perfectly resting on the roof of my house without rubbing against the gutters. What more could you ask for at a $40.00 price point!

Easy to assemble and mount to the ladder. Increases stability of the ladder and moves you away from the surface you are working on to make the job easier.

It’s a well made item but it fits earlier models of Little giant ladder I think. It does not fit the revolution ladders as I disappointedly found out and possibly the newer extreme versions
