These ladders are absolute garbage. Maybe the ones for around the home are ok but if you’re going to be using it daily, avoid. I’ve worked in my industry for 20 years. Werner and Louisville were always the standard. Lasted years before having to be refinished. My company recently switched to these. The following are the issues with every single one at our shop. Ive only had this ladder 1 1/2 years:Fiber is totally bare. The sealant started wearing away after a few months. Paint is totally gone. The rail side of the ladder is literally bare fiberglass. The hardware and bracket for feet rusted after a few months. I have to bang the feet with a line hammer to get them into the horizontal position.Ladder gets stuck if you extend it to 2 rungs before max height.Claw system for strands? Oh boy. Never worked. It’s a joke among the technicians.Avoid these ladders. Stick with something orange.

I bought this only because it had a rope so that my wife would be able to extend it. There is no rope as is shown in the video.

I needed this extension ladder to reach the peaks on my home as I painted the whole house. Only disappointment was there is no pulley to raise or lower the ladder. Being a woman is was not easy doing it myself manually.. beware

In the extended description and two attached videos, both show a "double pulley system that makes adjusting ladder length easy". On the 16 ft. ladder there is no rope on the side and no double pulley attached. I purchased because I needed that feature so now I have to make a decision if it is worth keeping it.

Needed a stable 16 foot ladder to help me get my house painted (under my wife's orders). I looked around and found some nice ladders, but since the infomercial some 20 years ago of the original Little Giant, I had to go with what I knew. Kinda like my obsession of Bose products. I bought the Little Giant Hyperlite ladder and now I'm addicted to climbing up and down. That may be a stretch, but this is a very lightweight ladder and very stable even when stretched out all the way. Now instead of taping a garden hook thingy to my painters extension pole, I can climb up and take all those nasty bird nests that rest around the top peak of my garage. A victory. A victory indeed.

Seems to be of good quality. It needs rubber tops on the ladder.

The 16 foot ladder is perfect for my home use, and isn't terribly heavy or awkward.
