Originally, I thought this scoop would be ideal for scooping charcoal, for the grill, out of the bag - so I wouldn't have to use my hands - but I found it a bit too large to get in the bag effectively. Instead, I found it ideal for scooping out pellets for the stove. Those 40-pound bags can be a challenge not only in lifting but also, once lifted, to try to steady the bag when pouring it into the hopper. I decided that scooping about half the bag, then lifting it after it was half empty would be easier on the back. This scoop is an ideal size for the pellet bags and sure makes the job easier!

Took a permanent marker to the lines, so it is easier to see. Love the pink color & better than the open scoopers.

Just what I needed and as a bonus, it also works for picking berries. Handle fits into pocket and leaves you hands free to pick 2 handed!!

This product was used for feed for my horse. This is my first horse and needed a 3 quart feed scoop and I was very impressed with the sturdiness and performance this product has done for me.

This is a nice, large scoop. We use it for cattle cubes which are big and heavy and it works great.

I have used this for my chicken feed, to lay down crushed limestone, and to move pine bedding into the chicken coop. I did this to see where it best fit in my chicken tool arsenal. Very pleased with how well it scoops and never feels like it will collapse or bend on all three mediums for the experiment. It is well worth the money and I will be purchasing 2 more!
