I was looking for a vest that could fit comfortably beneath a jacket during the coldest months as an extra layer.This one works great, it’s not bulky, the quilting and exterior materials are smooth so it does not constrict your movements against other layers and it has a high collar with soft lining. The first washings went well to prove it was well made.I hope they come out with a black version with deep red zipper and accents.

The vest is great. My husband loves the fit, color and style. Unfortunately, it had been worn and I can only assume returned. A new tag had been attached, placed in a newly sealed bag. Upon opening, the vest smelled of cologne, we found two receipts from a fast food location and a bonus of two mints 👍. I’m writing this in hopes the vendor sees and does a bit more QC prior reselling.

A word of warning for any bigger dudes out there. These vests run small and tight.I'm 6'3-6'4"" & about 250 with big shoulders and a bit of a paunch. And I already have XL and XXL vests in my wardrobe repertoire that fit. So I was a little torn on whether to get an XL or XXL. Based on the product dimensions, I opted for the XL. Yeah...no. It was VERY small. I couldn't even zip it up more than 2-3 inches.Exchanged for a XXL (pretty painless process), and that fit much better. IMO, it's still a little small and tight, but I guess that's the style now. Anyway, it zips all the way up and looks sharp.I definitely recommend sizing up. And if you're over 6'4" and 250...fuggedaboutit . Don't even bother. Even the XXL won't fit you.
