Brushing alone is not enough for children's hygiene; additional cleaning is even more necessary. The taste is also acceptable for kids.

Finding a mouth rinse that my 5-year-old daughter is willing to use consistently has been a blessing, and Listerine Smart Rinse for Kids has been our go-to for the past two years. It’s the only flavor she’ll use, and although I’m not sure if there are other flavors available, she loves the berry splash (more like berry bubble gum) so much that we haven’t felt the need to switch.We rely on Amazon’s subscribe & save to deliver it to our doorstep monthly, ensuring we’re never out of stock—especially since it can be hard to find locally. The mouthwash is surprisingly sweet and, importantly, doesn’t contain alcohol, so there’s no stinging, making it perfect for kids.My daughter now reminds me if we ever skip her rinse routine, which shows how well she’s adopted the habit of using it. It’s made establishing good dental hygiene habits so much easier, something I’m not sure would be as straightforward with less kid-friendly options. I used to buy this in store but now getting it from S&S is just easier. I've used the Listerine Kids mint formula for years with my now 12 and 10 year old. They use it every night and to this day still no cavities. I started when my 10 year old was a toddler "painting" it on her teeth with a cotton swab, as recommended by her DDS at the time.

We needed a fluoride rinse for our kids with braces, as their dental care isn't quite as thorough as it should be. ACT is a great choice, but can be pricey sometimes, so we gave this a try because it was a better value. The flavor and feel is very similar (obviously, don't swallow), but the use is a little trickier. ACT has those easy-to-dispense squeeze functions, and this doesn't really even have a clear line on the cap to know how much to use. Little harder for our younger kids.

I love this mouthwash! My adult son and I use it daily. It is alcohol free, so it is better for your gums. It doesn't have a string taste, which I love (I am not a fan of mint flavored products). It works well to remove plaque (you can see it when you rinse) and it has fluoride.They changed the bottle from a measured dispenser on top to just a pour bottle. I liked the measured one, but it would often stop working and become useless, so this is better.I recommend this for children and adults.I highly recommend.

I have a very dry mouth due to damaged salivary glands caused by radiation treatments for cancer. The lack of saliva due to my damaged salivary glands has caused my tongue to become extremely sensitive. Because of this I can no longer tolerate using salsa, ketchup, pepper or anything remotely spicy, tart, vinegary or sour. The lack of saliva also causes me to get thrush frequently, which exacerbates everything even more. Unfortunately, also due to this dryness, I can’t use regular mint flavored toothpaste or mouthwash for adults as the mint flavor burns my mouth like crazy! Some of the children’s fruity mouthwashes have a very nasty flavor to them. Thankfully, the flavor of this mouthwash isn’t bad at all, actually rather pleasant. But the main reason I like this mouthwash is that it helps remove denture adhesive from my gums and the roof of my mouth. Denture adhesive is always SO DIFFICULT to remove!! Out of desperation I’ve tried many different kinds of dentures adhesives, trying to find one that would properly adhere my dentures but would also not prove to be so difficult to remove when it was time to take my dentures out! I had no idea that denture adhesive would be so difficult to remove from inside my mouth! It doesn’t stick to the dentures much once you remove the dentures from your mouth, but oh my gosh, trying to remove the adhesives from your gums and the roof of your mouth is ridiculously difficult! Nothing I tried worked! That is, until I found this mouthwash! If I swish this mouthwash around in my mouth for a few minutes and repeat it a couple of times I’m actually able to remove the denture adhesive without spending 30-45 minutes trying to scrape the adhesive off. Someone needs to invent some denture adhesive that sticks to the dentures but not so much to the inside of your mouth! It’s just awful! And I’ve never heard or read anything about anyone else having this problem but I can’t be the only one that experiences this! It’s just not possible that I’m the only one! Anyway, if you have trouble removing denture adhesive from inside your mouth after removing your dentures, give this mouthwash a try and hopefully it will work as well for you as it does for me.
