I used this on my portable ham radio power supply for POTA. Easy to install. Accurate enough for most purposes. If you need a high degree of accuracy you are going to spend more money than this.

After testing quite a few batteries and dealing with many others over the years, this little meter looked to be something I could make good use of. So, it was ordered. It arrived in 5 days which was one day later than the estimated delivery date. The meter appeared to be in good condition. The meter is rather small. Meaning its display employs just 0.25" high digits. However, the digits are bright, have good contrast and are easy enough to read. The meter measures 1-7/8" wide, 1-1/8" high and 3/4" thick. The power leads are approximately 6" long and plug into the rear of the meter. The current sensor's "normal" leads are rather short. However, a 76" long replacement ribbon cable is included for remote sensing, if needed. One tip: After voltage is applied, there is a slight delay before the display produces a reading. If you are testing it to verify its operation, that delay might make it appear that the meter is defective. Just give it a second or so.

I can't speak to long term reliability yet, but it is working fine so far. I like that they include both a short 6" cable for the current sensor as well as a much longer one (about 6'). The cables are a rather small gauge and will not take a whole lot of abuse. This is best for fixed applications where the wiring will not need to be moved around regularly, and where it's not exposed to substantial vibration. I wouldn't recommend this for vehicle mounting, it's better suited for things like fixed solar.
