It is big enough and I noticed the bread stayed more fresh for a longer time. So far I used it for sourdough bread. I do recommend it.

I just put my bread in so I will be back to update this. First impressions are that the bags are very large and lined with a plastic or vinyl material. I will check on my bread and see if it is still fresh and not hard and make sure no mold has appeared. As of right now I like the bags. The quality and size.

I freeze all my bread unless I’m using it the same day because loaf bread turns hard as a rock within 30 hours, and sliced bread is stale or moldy within a few short days. I picked up these Lumaotra Linen Bread Bags for Homemade Bread because I'm getting into bread making. I decided to see what happens to my store bought bread. One of the best purchases ever. My French loaf is still soft, day 6, no sign of mold. Sliced bread, same deal. These clean up well. I pre-washed in the washing machine, air dried in the dryer, turned inside out so the plastic liner was exposed and finished the dry in the sun. I can’t recommend these enough. BIG money saver.

The Linen Bread Bags were delivered literally just after I had pulled the latest loaf of homemade bread out of the oven so I was able to put them to use right away. I love the size of this bag! Plenty of room for a full sized homemade loaf of bread without having to squish it in any way to get it in, and pull the ties to tighten. Still plenty of room. It's lined to keep the linen clean and to seal the bread enough so it doesn't dry out. Very cute - better than the gallon sized ziplock I usually end up shoving the bread into as it sits on the counter. Love it.

I love these bread bags. They are generously sized and can hold a large loaf of bread. My household makes bread several times a week and these bags are so handy. They seal up well, either with the drawstring, or by just folding the bag under. I washed them before first use and that was easy to do in the washing machine. Just hang to dry and then turn inside out to make sure the plastic liner is dry. A bag can be used multiple times before it needs washing again, just shake out the crumbs between use. I no longer need to purchase disposable plastic bread bags that then need to head for the landfill or recycling after use.
