It worked well for a month. But now the water is all leaking out within a matter of hours. I have made sure parts are all tightened and working. I've checked its level. But something is already malfunctioning and so it seems it cannot hold water. Very disappointing considering the cost. I have had to revert to my old watering device as I can't trust it.

Im so glad I bought this. I don’t have to worry about my chickens drinking dirty water. I also don’t have to constantly worry about giving my chickens water. I have two chickens and it’s perfect for them.

I bought this guy to replace my 5 gallon heavy duty waterer after it finally cracked. Now I'm a small time chicken lady. I have 6 senior hens and I'm not great at regular water changes, etc. Which with my last waterer, was really BAD. It was always mold and gross, and is unsafe for the birds. NOW... I have constant clean water for them. They love the new waterer and fresh water, I love never having to clean the thing. Think of it like a river, if you leave the water flowing and nature to it's thing, you don't need to clean the river. Same concept. This has saved my poor ADHD brain the guilt and stress of regular cleanings. Everyone is happier. I wish I had seen this thing 10 years ago!!

Set it up in like 2 minutes, I personally didn't use the hose attachment piece, but I am still super happy with it, my rabbits can't make a mess in their water and they have more access to clean water for longer periods of the day!Love it, probably will but another one when we expand!

I got this because I'm tire of lugging water out to the chicken coop. It was fairly easy to set up. I hooked up the water and it did it's thing. Filled up and the float stopped the water flow. HOWEVER, I go back out 2 hours later and it had continued to fill and was overflowing onto the floor. I messed with the float repeatedly and it just would not stop running water. If you've never had a flooded coop, well, lets just say it is extremely unpleasant to clean up. I have this hooked up to a water line with about 20 psi, so no problem there. I happened to have an extra ball float laying around and installed that and it worked perfectly. But I noticed there was still water dripping from the bottom. At least it wasnt running out of the top any more. The holes that are drilled in the bottom for the drip nozzles are just a bit too big. They only include one tiny gasket instead of two and if you tighten it, that gasket gets partially mashed down in that hole, thus creating a gap somewhere. I could go find better gaskets, but at this point, I've already added a $10 float and more leg work to fix this piece of junk was not what I ordered it for. It is cheap, thin, flimsy plastic. The container only holds about a gallon of water if the float is working properly. And the company offers no customer service. Amazon offered customer service, but they have no way to contact the company so I just got a refund and this thing went in the trash.

So I absolutely love not having to walk out to the chicken run and feed the water hose through the run and into their water bucket a couple or three times a week. This waterer is designed to connect to the water hose so all I have to do is step outside my door and turn on the spigot, and bam, the waterer starts filling up. Give it a minute, turn off the water, easy peasy. The only downside is that I can't leave the water turned on like it's advertised, the lover doesn't turn the water off or stop the flow of water like it's supposed to so we can't just leave the water spigot on all the time. However since it's right outside the door it's not a huge deal and I walk out there everyday anyway. It still saves me a heck of a lot of trouble and my chickens always have clean fresh water.

I been using this waterer for my chickens since August. Initially, it worked as advertised. It was easy to set up and, while I have it on a cinder block base for stability, it does not require a stand. I still have to clean the waterer daily, especially the gunk that builds up in the drinking cups for the chickens. About a month after I started using it, one of the cups started leaking and I haven't been able to stop it. Each time I try to adjust it, the leaking gets worse. Additionally, when the weather here has been 90s or above, the water in the tank has gotten very warm and needed to be dumped. I have the waterer attached to a hose designed to keep water cool but that doesn't help after it's been filled and sitting for any amount of time. While I like the idea of less time spent filling waterers and my chickens having an endless supply of fresh water, I'm just not sold that this product has met my needs in the most efficient manner. I'm still searching for the "perfect" watering system for my baby backyard flock.
