Great quality — they don’t come apart like the red brand. Have had zero leaks.

I used these to make two 5 gallon water buckets. They installed easily and I have great waterers for my birds. I called the service people because I was nervous about installing them and they were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Better than the cups we had and was able to fit these in the same holes in the bucket we drilled for the cups. Also I have some older hens (8) and they were able to learn how to use the new system just fine. I have a heater in the bucket and the nipples don’t freeze up.

These nipples helped us expand the number of buckets of water we have available to our chickens. They were accustomed to red nipples so I should have bought more red ones, but they seem to have figured it out.The nipples have been leaking a little but because they come with a wing nut for tightening, the leaks are not a big problem.

I bought these nipples after watching a YouTube video on them and how to hook them up to a PVC pipe and a rain barrel. I am so freaking happy!!!!!! I no longer have to worry about giving the chickens water every single day! They also provide instructions in the package. I am still a bit concerned about my little system freezing this winter but I guess time will tell.

I’ve tried the type of valve that hangs from the bottom of the bucket, and my chickens wouldn’t take to it. These are so much better. My chickens adapted to them easily (if you tap the metal peg, a droplet of water will stay on the little orange protrusion, and they are more than happy to peck that droplet and are rewarded with more). No issues with leakage. The included tools made installation a breeze. Great value, works great, and very durable.

Needed to install these on a heated water barrel. I used the included drill bit and installed two using the included plastic wing nut and rubber washer. They both had a slight leak. I reinstalled with no change. I ended up using white Teflon pipe dope. Now they don't leak. The mechanism seems to work fine.

These are the first chicken watering nipples I have purchased that don't leak. I wish they were red as that would require less training, but my girls took to them pretty fast. I just pushed in the metal bar to let water out and showed them. The tool that comes with it to tighten the nipples is great, just be careful if you are using a power drill not to over-tighten. I have arthritis in my hands, so getting them tight by hand was difficult for me. Most people could do it without a problem. Also, after drilling the holes, (drill bit provided), be sure to remove any debris from the hole so you get a solid connection. The washers are nice and everything works great. I made two of these out of 5 gallon paint buckets. Super easy and no more hauling water. Some people suggest adding an additive to the water to prevent algae or bacteria. Not sure why but I haven't had any problem with this. I also take the tops off when it rains to let them get some rain water. Very happy and would highly recommend this kit.
