Unstable. Medium size stand. If you feed dry food it's good. If you feed fresh food it will tip over when your pooch starts licking the side of the bowl.

Very well made and easily adjusted to fit any bowl. My dog feels pretty special, as well he should.

My 90-pound Shepherd-Rottweiler mix always seemed a little uncomfortable bending down to eat, so I knew he probably needed a raised bowl.Prior to this, I had his dish propped up on random things... an Amazon box, a stack of books, a tupperware container, etc, but as you can imagine, it never really sit right because they weren't made to hold a dog bowl. This stand fixed all of that in 2.2 seconds! This stand is so sturdy, it's the perfect height for him, and it fits ALL of his existing bowls, just like the description said it would do.I also love that it’s adjustable, so I could get it perfectly for him.Assembly was a breeze — everything just snapped together with zero hassle.German Shepherd's are widely known to have joint issues as they start to age.Having his food at a much better, healthier level will hopefully help keep his neck and joints happy as he gets older. If I should ever need another stand, I’d happily grab one of these again without hesitation.5 stars without hesitation!

I had doubts when I received this package. When I ordered it, I was unaware that I would need to assemble it before it could be used.It did not come with instructions on how to get it together. I had to use the photo in the listing, making me have to go to the computer instead of just being able to quickly put it together. After assembling it, it rocked back and forth, the legs would not stand level. Even after using the enclosed non-slip feet, it still rocks a little, but not as bad as before. It doesn't move around when the dog uses it, which made me happy. I was very worried that the dog might tip it over.MADE IN CHINA.

A lot of stands don’t change size. This one does to help grip the bowl and that makes it useful for more than dog bowls. The leg height is good for a larger breed. Its also a good way to lift a plant pot off of the ground. The stand has a good weight and is easy to use with a simple design that does not take away from anything.

With three pit bulls, I need to make sure there are more than a few sources of water. I prefer to have water bowls raised to help them drink without straining their necks and backs, and to help with better digestion overall. This dog bowl stand assembled very quickly and I was able to turn the bowl over to center the cross piece (X) on the base of the bowl before tightening down the screws. I like that this has rounded posts and that those posts are lower than the edge of their water bowl. I don't need to worry about one of the dogs getting caught on a sharp edge or something. The tubes are textured but capped and smoothed out so there aren't rough edges either. It comes with little floor protection pads to keep the stand from either slipping/moving or scratching the floor. The height is just right for my medium-to-large pups (think Labrador Retriever, Collie, Portuguese Water Dog, American Bulldog, etc.). The price is affordable so I can get three more to use for their food dishes, since right now they are eating in different spaces than the combined standing feeder I was using is located. Highly recommend!!

RECOMMENDATION:Thumbs Up: Looks good and fits different bowl sizesTHE GOOD:1. The stand is metal and pretty sturdy. It tightens up with allen wrench screws, so you can get it very solid.2. This stand uses 4 legs, which is a huge improvement vs those stands that just use 3 (I have one of those). My dogs kept knocking over the 3 leg stand and it took them a while to get used to it.3. Includes good instructions for assembly even though you don’t really need them.4. Very quick to assemble.5. They have plastic caps at the top and bottom of all legs, so that the rough metal edges won’t hurt your dog.6. The black painted metal looks good and modern.7. One of the reasons why I got this bowl stand was because it actually had a platform for the bowl, vs just having the arms support the bowl. That is a good design.8. The easiest way that I found to adjust the bowl size was to loosen all of the screws under the top of the stand (4), put your bowl in and then push the legs all together until they hold the bowl securely, then re-tighten the screws. That was quick and worked really well.9. Pretty good deal for the price.THE BAD:1. The only thing that this stand does not have is a height adjustment. They do offer 3 different sizes/heights – so be sure to get the proper one for your dog.2. Dog seemed to like it and now she does not have to bend down for mealtimes. She was getting some neck problems and this did seem to help.

I bought this stand for my 12-year old husky that his recurring neck issues. We were previously putting his bowl and a storage bin, but this is more functional. I do worry sometimes that he will knock it over, but so far no issues. Assembly was a little challenging, thus the 1-star knockdown. To be fair though, I'm not very good at putting things together. If you are, and all the pieces that are supposed to be there are there, you should have no trouble.
