I purchased this because I wanted a cleaner look for my dogs eating area but still wanted to make sure she still had a slow feeder because she NEEDS it! She seems to love this set especially the size of the water bowl! - All you need to do is screw the legs in on the bottom and you're good to go. Very simple, straightforward, and clean! Definitely recommend.

This is a very nice set and the slow eating method works very well in making her slow down and eat her food without gobbling it up in less than five minutes. I got the blue and it is a gorgeous color.

The initial impression of these dog bowls is that they are solid and high-quality. The assembly consists of attaching the four wooden legs to the top tray. The stand is made of real wood. The bolts that are used to attach the legs to the tray do not protrude enough and barely turn into the threaded holes at the bottom of the tray. The two ceramic bowls are flawless. One bowl is for water, and the other is a slow-feeder bowl, which has ridges and grooves that make it harder for a dog or a cat to gulp down food too quickly. Dogs tend to swallow foods whole instead of chewing; a slow feeder will force dogs to slow down to eat their meals, which improves their digestion and their health as well. A slow feeder bowl can extend meal times by 10-fold. The surface of the ceramic bowl is smooth, making it easier to wash and clean.Their webpage recommends this bowl and stand set for dogs under 22 pounds. We have a Chihuahua miniature pinscher mix that my daughter adopted from the Dog Rescue Center. He was very skinny when he first came to our home just a few months ago, and although he has since gained quite a bit of weight, he still weighs less than seven pounds. Although this set is beautiful and functional, it is too big for our small dog; therefore, we are removing the four legs from the stand.The reason we ordered this slow-feeder dog bowl and water bowl set for our small dog is because its title states, “Ceramic Slow Feeder Dog Bowl and Water Bowl Set for Small Breed.” This set is for medium or large dogs and not small dogs; therefore, the marketers need to correct that.Overall, although this dog bowl and stand set is too pricey, it is high-quality and functional.

I love this new feeder! More importantly, my dog loves it! The ceramic bowls are sturdy & high quality & very easy to clean! Even cleaning the slow feeder bowl is so easy! No caked-on nasty bits! The feed dish is easier for my dog to navigate than his plastic slow-feed bowls. I love the color (I got the green). Having the water elevated to is wonderful-no more spills! The stand itself is nice looking & well made. Assembly is a cinch! You just screw on the legs & place the rubber tabs on the stand (not the bowls) at 12, 3, 6 & 9. I’ll definitely be buying another one!
