A: No. This USB speaker can only be used for computers. Because the USB ports of those devices do not have enough power to drive our speaker, which may result in not loud enough maximum volume.
Q: Can I plug it into USB-Hub?
A: Not recommended. The USB-hub has no enough power to drive our speaker, which may result-in cluttered, distorted or even constantly pops (audio cut-out) at high volume.
Q: What's the problem if the speaker still “Doesn't Work” after plugged in?
A1: Make sure that the USB port of your computer can work properly.
A2: Make sure that you had selected "USB2.0 Device" as your computer sound output device.
Q: Is there a built-in microphone?
A: No. There is no built-in mic, so it is recommended to use a separate computer microphone when having video calls.

I have been using a JBL speaker with my computer because it's what I had. It had to be powered by a USB and connected with a headphone cord. Two things I hated about this setup: 1. the JBL turned off by itself after inactivity. 2. It didn't work well with my USB switcher when I needed to switch what computer everything was connected to.This speaker solves both problems and requires no setup other than specifying to use this speaker in your settings.No more are the days of not hearing Teams calls coming in or alerts on my computer because the speaker turned off and I had no idea.I love that it's 100% USB and doesn't require a headphone jack to connect.I love that this doesn't turn off. It's always on. I don't have to think about it. Though this could be a downside for those who work on laptops without always being plugged into a main power source.I love that it's slim and non-obtrusive on my desk. I hate a cluttered desk. I barely notice this thing is there.I love the touch tap buttons on the top. It's one of the features I loved about my JBL. Having the volume buttons on the device itself allow me to quickly turn up, down, or even mute. No having to fumble with my mouse and find the computer's sound control.I love that there is a red light that appears and stays on when you mute. It's very easy to see if I forgot to unmute (for example, when I'm in a work call and a get a call from my kids' school and need to mute my mic and my speakers so I can hear on my personal phone)As for sound quality. It's good enough. My sirius XM music sounds just fine. It's not a robust or surround sound by any means. But it sounds good enough for the music I play when I'm in deep focus mode. I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. This speaker can get quite loud.I have no complaints. Great little speaker for work for a great little price. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I bought the LIELONGREN USB Computer Speaker for a Dell laptop. Nice looking. Sturdy. It plugs into a USB port and when pressing the device's volume buttons, an onscreen volume measure appears. It shows volume levels as you raise, or lower.This device raises and lowers the built in laptop speaker volume ONLY. No sound comes out of the LIELONGREN USB Computer Speaker itself. NONE. It controls my laptop speaker and that is all it does. It does not function as a separate speaker for me. It is simply a volume control device.I do not need an extra USB device to control volume on my laptops. I do that easily with a mouse and the speaker icon in my task bar. Waste of money. Glad it was inexpensive.UPDATE: I pulled out an old Toshiba laptop to get some data and on a whim, I tried out this speaker bar. Worked perfectly (TOSHIBA Windows 7). Nice loud sound. I plugged it back into the first laptop in which it performed poorly (a DELL Windows 10). It started working with loud, clear sound. It no longer shows an onscreen volume changer, but I only care about the sound. I am revising my stars to reflect its improvement. Maybe it needed a jolt from good old Windows 7?

A good quality speaker with a small footprint but has very reasonable sound quality for its size. Its robust and well finished with good volume control buttons( + and -) and a very useful mute button. Plays everything well without any noticeable distortion. Good value for money
