These are crazy loud and clear with a good hint of bass. i recommend them to someone who does want too much space taken. The cords for them are short though. definitely wish they were longer as I wanted them on the corners of my desk.

They're $10 speakers, they're not going to blow anyone away. But for $10? They're decent. But besides that, I would rate this 3.5 stars if I could. But I'm going to round down to 3 stars for a few reasons. They're absolutely tiny for computer speakers, perfect for anyone with a small desk or use with Steam Deck or a similar handheld PC. The audio quality is better than I expected. There's no massive bass muddling the rest of the sound like you would expect with other cheaper speakers, and the mids/highs are nice and clear. It's not audiophile level, but absolutely worth it considering the price. The volume control is on the cable connecting the speakers to the device you're using it on, a la wired headphones style. My main gripe, and the reason that I'm only rating a 3/5 instead of a 4/5, is the volume. At 100% on my computer, I am barely able to hear any dialogue when sitting about 2 feet away from them. It's very muddy. Any further and the words start blending together. Now I'm not sure if this is just a me issue and my hearing is just worse than I thought or I'm just watching the wrong content, but I just can't see using these without also having to have subtitles which takes away from the experience. I don't really think these should be labeled as Computer Speakers in general. And the more I think about these speakers, I'm pretty confused on exactly who these are for?Sure, they're decent speakers for $10. But if we're putting these on our desk, the volume being quiet just doesn't really work well. Volume control is on the cable instead of on one of the speakers, making it tedious to turn them up/down without having to just do it through your software control. The cable connecting the speakers to the PC is maybe 3 feet long, which just isn't long enough to really justify using these anywhere besides on a phone or portable device. But that's just it, there's 2 speakers instead of one. They're just too big and cumbersome to use portably, since once again, there's 2 of them connected by a cable. They may be tiny, but you can't exactly put these in your pocket and take around. The only real way I can justify using these is if you want a "desktop like audio experience" with a laptop. And even then, that in-line volume control issue just keeps wringing its neck. It's in such a bad spot and basically exactly in the middle of the already short cable that adjusting it just takes too much time. They're built so much like headphones that I'm pretty sure that volume control has a microphone inside it. There's a grill on the side that as far as I can tell is useless except for mic input. And when I plug them in, I can see it being detected as both a speaker and microphone. The "mic" doesn't pick up anything other than white noise, and I'm not sure if this is just a my computer thing, but it's still a bit weird to see.All in all, they're not for me. And while I went off on this review, I also know that there is apparently a market for these types of speakers. So if these interest you and all you care about if the sound quality to money ratio or something to hold you over until you pick something else up, these are a pretty decent choice. But if you're looking for speakers that you actually want to use long term on your desk, or something that you can bring around and use with your phone (USB-C to USB-A adapter included), I personally don't think these are what you're looking for.
