This pull-through swab is plenty absorbent and soft, and is generously-sized, perhaps too large, as I have a little trouble pulling it through my Bb clarinet. It tends to get wedged in the upper joint. Trimming it a bit has helped.

The brand Libretto has great instrument cleaning sets for my musical instruments. This is set is the most basic. The cleaning cloth is "heavy duty" microfiber. The cork grease also does a great job greasing the joints for the clarinet. Kids can easily do it themselves. The cloth is also quite easy to laundry. Nice simple set for the clarinet.

This is a great little starter kit - We picked this up for our middle schooler who hasn't been cleaning his clarinet for a year or so.. it was starting to look dirty and smell.. quick cleaning and it helped quite a bit. The swab is easy to use, just drop the string in the neck and pull through. Cork grease goes on smooth, just make sure they dont get it confused with chap stick, because they look similar.This is an essential piece of gear, dont wait a year like I did.
