I knew this item was a little pricey but decided the convenience of getting a swab, bore oil and key oil might be worth it. It was not! The swab is short and has a very small diameter, definitely not large enough for a Bb Clarinet! It may work in a Piccolo but in a Clarinet it would bounce around inside the bore like a black eye pea inside a box car. It is not returnable so I am stuck with something that's useless to me.

So many products in this kit. Most of them were likely unnecessary, but for the items that get daily use, the buy is worth it. Great starter care kit for the beginning instrumentalist.

Overall as other post will say the oils work great. my clarinet is sounding better than it ever has, the rod rag (Metal stick with fur?) flakes really easily.just make your own pull rag or use one you already own

Brought my old clarinet out of storage and it needed some love. This helped bring back some life back and let me use in the interim. If you have stored your wooded clarinet, I would suggest taking it in and have it professionally cleaned and use this when you are using it.
