Ha: I finally decided I should replace the filter WAY after what they recommend so I purchased these and have them ready for next time. Hard to tell how effective they are but at least I am following the recommended maintenance now.

Easy to install. BTW that picture with an orange device, is NOT what I got. I received the correct LG water filter.
