I own several products by LEZINE and am happy with the brand. My most recent purchase is this bar insert kit which includes a tubeless tool and a multitool (size Large). Both tools are precision built, well constructed, and very functional. The package includes orings of different diameters, to fit each tool into the handlebar, considering its internal diameter (ID). I did, however, have problems when it came to installation. I tried on two bikes 1) a Cannondale Topstone (with drop bars) where I tried fitting the tubeless tool and it simply would not stay put, regardless of the oring diameters I used (the multitool I did not try as it's to long and will not fit a drop bar); and 2) a BULLS Copperhead AM EVO3 MTB, were the tubeless tool fit perfectly, but I had a similar problem with the multitool. Both bikes are newer models and have standard -modern- components. On the BULLS I was able to force the multitool in place by unsitting the outer oring from its grove; but this is kinda iffy and I'm not 100% confident the tool will stay in place during heavy use. Having said this, I like the product and decided to keep them on the BULLS. Note that this is not a problem with the tools themselves, but rather something one needs to consider when buying, as these tools may not be as "universal" fitting as one would like.

I generally don’t hold much stock in reviews, people seem to have problems putting things together or following instructions. So I order, and things usually work out. I did measure the interior of my bars and they were the right size. Could not get them to fit. The tool didn’t fit even with the bands removed. Even the small bands that hold the bits got stuck. The plug tool fit, but couldn’t get them in, even after greasing the bands. The main problem was the interior of the bars narrowed to much for the tool to fit. But… it is a nicely made set of tools, just didn’t fit my bars.

Arrived last night. Really surprised how small it was and I ordered the largest one. Upon unpacking or removing the ties I noticed that there was a scuff mark on the tip.I don't think it was my fault cuz I was just about to remove the zip ties, just took it off the bag. Didn't feel like doing a return.I sure hope it's strong enough to take abuse.

Some folks complain about getting the right fit for the inserts with their handlebars - here's a simple tip. Use two different size silicone bands. I am using the blue medium bands at the top of the tool and the smaller red at the bottom near the opening. I also found that the blue bands are very snug and can require some effort to install and remove the tool. I applied some silicon grease to the band and it slides in much easier.

Please be aware of this issue. The pictures of this item are misleading. If you will look closely in the page you will see "Size: Small" but without looking into this detail, all the rest of the page shows the large edition, including the description:"MULTI-TOOL INSERT: Machined aluminum tool kit. Securely and discretely inserts like a bar plug. Includes: Swivel head / Hex 10mm, Hex bits: 2,3,4,5,6,8 MM Phillips bit, T10, T25, T30 "I had to return this item because it was not what I expected it to be

I really like this toolset. I ordered the size large. It fits in my Ritchey aluminum flat bars. The tool feels very high quality, and after fooling around with it I prefer it a lot more than the typical folding multitools. When considering which size tool to get, I wouldn’t worry about which bits are included as any bits can be switched out with your desired ones that you have laying around.A competing product uses a wrap around the tool plus magnets to hold the bits in the tool. The magnets are weak and the wrap is susceptible to damage and compromises longevity. This tool uses thin rubber bands/gaskets plus magnets to hold the bits in place. The magnets seem to have an adequate amount of retention. While the rubber bands may break, they can easily be found at hardware stores/Amazon for replacement. The tubeless repair kit seems well made. The plug threader seems to be firmly embedded in the cap, and seems very durable. If you are interested in modding, I think you could buy another separate tubeless insert, dremel off the bar end, and screw it onto the cap for an extra capsule for quicklinks, cash, etc.The large toolset gives a lot of leverage because of its length. The tool feels very strong torquing bolts down, and gives the necessary leverage to get a stubborn bolt undone. The additional leverage is also nice when used with my concealed chain break that uses your multitool. The tool stays in the handlebar using various sized gaskets. I was able to get a tight fit that was still able to be retrieved just using my fingers. I applied a little bit of grease to the inside of the handlebars and the gaskets, because they don’t slide in dry lol

I do not recommend this if you have Race Face Carbon handlebar.I think there is a good reason why Wolf Tooth Components Encase system has plastic wrap to hold tools instead of simple o-ring like this one. The o-ring holding the bit slips around due to friction from Race Face carbon handlebar and ended up seizing the tool inside the handle. I had to spend quite bit of time to get it out.
