I like this brand and just ordered these to work on my Audi and friends VW. They are well made and I would recommend to anyone who does his own automotive work.

If you're working on a VW GTI, the LEXIVON XZN Triple Square Spline Bit Socket Set is a must-have. Here's why:Performance and Fitment: These tools fit perfectly into the bolts, providing a secure grip. The precise fit helps prevent damage to both the tools and bolts. Tip: Grind the tip of each socket smooth to avoid stripping bolts. However, I met an issue on the transmission case bolts which are very shallow. The front section of the tool sticks out farther before the splines start, leaving very little contact area. This can make it difficult to get a secure grip on these specific bolts. Grinding off this front protrusion remedied this issue.Durability and Build Quality: Made from high-quality materials, these sockets are built to last. The sturdy construction handles high torque applications with ease. The included case keeps everything organized and protected.Ease of Use: Easy to attach and detach, the sockets are user-friendly and clearly labeled for quick identification.Value for Money: Given the quality and durability, this set is a great investment. It’s reliable and convenient for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Conclusion: Highly recommended for VW GTI owners. The LEXIVON set works well, fits perfectly, and comes in a sturdy case. Don’t forget to smooth the ends for longer-lasting performance. Great value for money!

I can’t say enough good things about these Lexivon slim triple square sockets—and their customer service deserves a standing ovation! When I brilliantly managed to ruin my set (don’t ask), I reached out, fully expecting to hear, “Sorry, buddy, that’s on you.” Instead, they made me right without batting an eye.I felt like I was dealing with a therapist rather than customer service—they didn’t judge me, just solved my problem like pros. Their sockets are slim, strong, have two ways to use them, and now officially foolproof (because even I couldn’t ruin this experience). They don’t just make great tools—they make you feel like less of a tool when you screw up.

I am glad that I found this cost effective set for a head gasket job I was doing on my wife's car. There were used in very high torque scenarios and performed perfectly.

The Triple Square (also called XZN) fasteners transmit the most torque to the fastener than any other common head design. They are commonly used on European vehicles and can be identified by 12 points with square (90 degree) profiles. These are very effective fasteners and will transmit more torque to the fastener than internal hex head, 6 sided or 5 sided Torx fasteners. These Lexivon sockets are good enough quality for most applications, but I have broken the end on 1 of them where the XZN head bolt was impossibly rusted in place. These Lexivon sockets are perfect for most uses and cost less for the entire set than 1 Snap-on or MAC socket. So it is understandable that they are not quite as strong as the professional tools which cost 10 times as much. I own a 7 bay automotive shop and these work well for 95% of the XZN fasteners we see. I have a Snap-on set for the super tight applications.
