It’s Leviton quality. I have been updating all the old outlets in a newly purchased home and putting GFCIs where they are now required by current code. These are a tight fit in old metal single gang boxes, but they do successfully fit without much wiggle room. In modern plastic boxes, they fit well in single and multi-gang applications. Easy backwire install. They are slimmer than some competitor GFCIs I have used. There might be some less expensive alternatives, but I’ll be continuing to purchase these moving forward.

I replaced a single GFI that came with the house with these 4 putting one in each bathroom and the kitchen. Previously if the GFI tripped a good hunk of the house went out, and then I had to track down the offender. The green LED makes it easy to see that all is good. The tamper resistant feature is a pain though. It requires you to plug the plug in evenly and not at an angle. It is required by code now where I live, and it is a good way to keep children from sticking something into the outlet. It's a good trade off.

Been buying Leviton products for many years because they simply work! Needed some GFCi outlets for outdoor use, so when mine died, I replaced it with Leviton knowing that it will last for many more years. Great product, great brand - what else can you ask for?

Replaced 4 outside outlets in an older home and the outlets snugged up well and the cost for 4 was about the same as 2 at the hardware store.

Does not have the color coded lever terminals that snap lock like the regular outlet. Same screws to lock wire into place.
